I hear a soft knock at the door and yell, "It's open!" Braken slips in and I jump in his arms. "Woah! Someone's happy!" He chuckles. "Can I not be excited to see my boyfriend?!" He picks me up bridal style, both of us blushing lightly. "It's your choice." He spins around and I laugh. "What are you up to?" He asks, setting me down. "Stuff." "Ok, now you're starting to sound like Monstercat. Be more specific." I giggle. "Writing lyrics for my new track." His eyes brighten. "Lyrics, eh? Can you sing?" I nod. "Show me." I shake my head no. He sticks his bottom lip out and I look away. "Don't make me." He murmurs. I resist looking at him. "I'm gonna do it..." He warns. I try to ignore him and open Fruity Loops. "Ok.." He grabs me and tickles me, sending me into a fit of laughter. "Stop!" I screech. "Sing to me!" He shoots back, a huge smile on his face. "If you stop!" I gasp. He releases me and looks at me expectantly with those big, chocolate-brown eyes. I almost yelled, "Sike!" and darted out the door, but his gaze was like a chain. Wrapping around me and holding me in place. I sigh. "Chase the wind, and touch the sky. A star's light shines on, long after it dies. Ohhh- oh-oh. In the night.." He smiles and urges me to continue. "Live every day, as if it's your last. Our memories burn bright like beacons of the past. Ohhh-oh-oh in the night..! Now we race... against the sun. Now we race... against the sun! Ooo." When I finished, I realized that I was staring into Braken's eyes. "Damn... you weren't lying when you said you could sing.." He mutters, causing me to blush heavily. "T-Thanks." I smile. "Oh, and by the way," He leans over to my ear, "I got your phone." He stands and runs out the door. "Braken I'm gonna kill you!" I shout, running after him.
