It had been the day after the Sully family arrived. It was time for the Chief's children, plus Rotxo, to teach them the way of water. Tÿlana and Ao'nung both couldn't care less, but Tsireya and Rotxo were very excited for some reason...Or for Rotxo there was an obvious reason.
" I have lessons, guys. I will join you later with the ilu's ." Tÿlana told her siblings. All three of them nodded before running away with laughs to find the Sully children.
The eldest daughter watched them with a small smile. It was sweet seeing the three of them get along so well. It didn't happen often so it was nice.
" You have lessons with the children today, Tÿa." Her father spoke up as he walked from behind her. She nodded to him. Tonowari smiled gently, kissing her head before moving out of the pod and into the village.
There was a key thing everyone knew about the Chief's eldest daughter. She was not good with other teenagers. Her siblings and Rotxo were the exception to the distaste. On the other hand, she was amazing with younger children ever since a young age. It brought her joy when she was able to teach the young children of the clan. They were sweet little kids with bright lives ahead of them.
She had made her way toward the beach where there were about eight little Metkayina kids running around and splashing each other in the water. They all quickly stopped once they saw their teacher come into sight. Tÿlana eyed them slightly as she moved into the water. They all watched her carefully and silently. The girl cracked a smile and splashed them with the water. The whole group got into a giant water fight before the lesson had begun.

" Where's Tÿlana?" Lo'ak asked her siblings as the group had just finished a tiny feud about not knowing how to sign or properly breathe under the water. He saw the looks the group gave him and rolled his eyes. " You are all here. Why isn't she?"
" She is teaching, skxqwng." Ao'nung mumbled to the boy, rolling his eyes. He truly could not give the forest boy the time of the day.
" What does she teach?" Tuk curiously asked.
" She teaches the children of the village. Much like we are doing with you, just...younger." Rotxo spoke up now, looking slightly fed up with all these questions.
" Around Tuk's age." Tsireya smiled at the group. She looked over to the edge of the walkway and saw said girl there with the children she was teaching. " There she is."
All of them looked over to the girl, watching as she smiled and put a flower in a small girl's hair. It seemed to look like the boys were fighting over her attention as they argued behind Tÿlana and the three girls. She stood up, glancing at the group of boys. All of them straightened up and smiled charmingly at her. Tsireya and Ao'nung couldn't help but laugh while Rotxo rolled his eyes. He saw his little brother among the group of boys. The Sully children all laughed along with the Chief's children.
Lo'ak couldn't help but continue watching the girl in her element. It was obvious she was very good with kids but not so much with teenagers. By the encounter they all had yesterday she wasn't very thrilled they were there either, which did not help their case. He knew it was weird to stare but he couldn't help it. She was truly the most gorgeous Na'vi he has ever seen. Her eyes were different from any other he's ever seen and he loved it. The green was practically refreshing to him. But she showed no interest in him.
" Where is Kiri?" Rotxo said.
That's when the panic started.
" Tÿa, we need help!" Tsireya called to her sister once she came back up from the water. All of them had gone searching for Kiri but no one got lucky enough to see her.
" Okay, water bugs. Class dismissed." She smiled at the kids before jumping into the water and swimming toward the group. She rose above the water and pushed her hair out of her face with a confused look. " What is wrong?"
" Kiri is missing. You know these waters best-" Tsireya worked up to the question but Ao'nung interrupted her with an annoyed tone.
" Can you go find her?"
Tÿlana looked at her brother with a tiny glare. " Where are your manners, Ao?"
" I'm deeply sorry," He sarcastically responded. " Dear sister, would you please help us find the girl?"
His sister looked satisfied with that answer and nodded. She dove back under the water, exploring throughout in hopes of finding the girl. She rounded a giant piece of coral and saw Kiri controlling the fish at the bottom of the sea bed. Tÿlana looked greatly confused at the site before shaking it off and swimming toward Kiri. She tapped the girl's shoulder and Kiri whipped her head back to see who it was. Kiri's face eased slightly and she looked above the water, guessing that's what Tÿlana came out to get her for. They swam to the top of the ocean, Kiri inhaling a deep breath while Tÿlana stared at her, still confused.
" You are an interesting one, Kiri." Was all she said before swimming back to the group.
Kiri tilted her head slightly, confused on the...compliment? She swam after Tÿlana. Her siblings quickly bombarded her with questions of where she was, why she was gone so long, how she held her breath.
" We should start ilu's." Rotxo smiled and the group all agreed.
This would be interesting...
