Tÿlana stood in front of her students with a smile on her face. She knew her mother was right. This was needed to be her priority and she had been slacking on it. The looks on these kids' faces made it all worth it, not some boy she just met. Although the boy made her almost equally happy.

" Water bugs, this is Tuk. She is going to join us from now on. You all better be nice to her or I will make Lua eat you all, and she is a very hungry tulkun." She teased them all while walking into the water. The kids laughed with her as they all moved into the shallows.

Everyone knew Lua was the Chief's daughter's tulkun. Lua was the calf of Roa, Ronal's tulkun. The last they had seen of the tulkun, Roa was going through her breeding circle of having another gorgeous calf. It was quite convenient speaking Roa's spirit sister was also due to have a child.

" We have lots to learn today, but I think it is about time you guys learn how to ride an ilu." Tÿlana said.

A wide smile appeared on her face as the children began to cheer. This group of kids was younger then the ones she would normally teach. There were around five of them, including Tuk, who was around a year or two older than them. She thought it would be good anyway so that the young forest girl could get more practice. Her older group that had Rotxo's brother in it was more experienced in ilu riding and she knew it'd be harder for Tuk to keep up with them. Tÿlana did feel slightly bad for putting Tuk with kids younger than her but it really did make sense. Tuk was not from the water clan so she wouldn't be a natural like the rest of them. It would be more helpful if she learned like the younger children so she could move onto the older children later on when she was ready.

" First things first, we got to teach how to call for the ilu." Tÿlana made the noise after her sentence a couple of times before gesturing for the kids to do it. They all tried and some sounded good, others not so much. " Again."

The small group stood there for ten minutes trying to master the sound of ilu calling and even after a lot of time, half of them sounded like they were choking on their own blood which slightly concerned the people walking by but they said nothing. It was the Chief's daughter teaching them, they would be in good hands.

" Well, let's move on. We can call for ilu another day." She brushed off the situation for the time being and began to call for a younger group of ilu.

The creatures came slithering up to the shore and circled around the young children as if they were prey. The kids seemed not to care and giggled while feeling the ilu's wet back as they swam by. Tÿlana grinned at the sight. It reminded her of when she would sit on the beach with her mother and watch Tsireya learn.

An ilu came up behind Tÿlana and nudged her leg with its head. She looked down and smiled once she saw Ikary, the ilu that seemed to be obsessed with Lo'ak. Relatable on Tÿlana's part but she wouldn't admit that.

" Hi Ikary." She cooed, laying her hand on the ilu's head and gently stroking down to its back. The ilu made a chirping noise and nodded its head to another part of the beach.

Tÿlana paused for a moment and truly listened. She heard grunting and the sound of water splashing from the beach section that was a couple of pods away. The girl looked down at Ikary with worry in her eyes.

" Uhm, class dismissed!" She urgently told the children, shooing the other ilu away with lightly splashing the water. The kids all loudly groaned. " I'm being serious, guys! We will continue tomorrow. Please, go home."

With those words they all trudged out of the water and into the village. Tÿlana quickly made the bond behind her and Ikary. The ilu sped into the water and they dove under.

" Faster." Tÿlana instructed the ilu.

Once she was above water she saw her brother and his group of goons fighting against Neteyam and Lo'ak. The girl groaned. She jumped off of Ikary and marched up to her brother, who was on top of Lo'ak. With a grunt, she shoved Ao'nung off of the boy. Her brother quickly got up, chest puffed out and ready to strike whoever did that. Once he saw his sister, his manor deflated.

" What is wrong with you, Ao?!" She screamed at him, shoving him back roughly. Her brother stumbled back with a roll of his blue eyes. " You skxqwng! What were you thinking?!"

Her yelling had caught the attention of the other boys and the fight was quick to stop. The Metkayina boys went off to one end and the Sully brother's went up to Kiri. They all watched as Tÿlana continued shoving and yelling at her older brother. She was furious.

" You want to be Ole'eyktan?" Her tone was low and filled with venom as she took a step forward. Ao'nung glared down at his little sister. " I can assure you after this little 'mishap' you will freshly off that fucking roster."

" Shut up, Tÿa." Ao'nung whispered quietly to her with rage hidden in the back of his tone. She continued nagging at him." Tÿlana, shut up!"

It all went quiet in that moment where Ao'nung had finally yelled at his sister. They were standing chest to chest, both breathing heavily. Ao'nung was angry because she was right. He knew after this his father would doubt his duties and possibly stop his training. Tonowari would be greatly disappointed.

But Tÿlana...Tÿlana was mad her brother even had the audacity to lay his hands on Neteyam and Lo'ak..God the audacity he had to lay his hands on Lo'ak. Not only was she mad at that but the stupidity Ao'nung had, it all ruined his shot of taking their father's role. All Ao'nung had ever wanted was to become Chief.

" Ao'nung! Tÿlana!" Tonowari's voice boomed throughout the whole village as he looked at his two children still in the water. Their heads shot over to him and Ao'nung looked down immediately. Tÿlana mumbled under her breath.

Everyone who had been in the fight, or watching in Kiri's case, feared for the Chief's children. Eywa only knew what was about to happen. Not only to them but to the Sully family. It didn't look good. Not at all.

" Let's go." Tonowari blew out air, angrily before turning and walking away to the pod. His children did not follow him for a moment. " Now!"
