Tÿlana, along with the others, made it to the shallow parts of the water. She glanced at Ao'nung and saw her brother look at her. She gestured to the water, hoping he'd get the hint. Somehow in-sync, the siblings called for the ilu, making a clicking noise through the back of their throats. The Sully siblings looked around in awe as a group of ilu began to swim toward them, circling around the group of Na'vi. Tÿlana smiled, gently placing her hand on the head of her ilu, Tulo. Lo'ak watched the girl in her element with a small smile making its way onto his face. He wished one day he could show her the forest.

" These are ilu," Ao'nung began. He turned to look at the group, gesturing with his hands.

" If you want to live here, you have to ride."

" Lo'ak, you can go with Tÿa. I'll take Tuk. Neteyam goes with Ao'nung. Rotxo, you can have Kiri." Tsireya gave them all a person to go with and they slowly dispersed.

Lo'ak smirked at Neteyam once he heard his name be paired with the girl he couldn't help but admire the past day and a half. The eldest Sully rolled his eyes before shooting daggers at Ao'nung, who was grabbing an ilu.

" This is Ikary," Tÿlana's hand glided across the ilu's back, the creature letting out a chirp of happiness. " Hop on."

Lo'ak looked at her before nodding and jumping onto the ilu. His hands fumbled above the ilu for a while, not knowing where to place them. Tÿlana grabbed his hands and put them on the antenna of Ikary. She made sure to tighten the squeeze of his hands before letting go. He looked down at her with a glint of curiosity in his eyes and a small blush in his cheeks.

" If you don't hold tightly, you'll get ripped off by the ocean." She said, looking up at him with a tiny smile. The girl decided to not talk about how she noticed his ears perk up when she touched his hands or the fact his tail really did him dirty by wiggling around so much.

" You know, you guys make it seem like the ocean is so majestic but then you say things like that-" Lo'ak had been cut off by Tÿlana's chuckle. He stopped talking immediately and looked at her, confused.

" One day, you will learn the way of water. You will learn to love the ocean as much as the rest of us do." She looked down toward his legs and put her hands on them, pushing his leg up against the ilu tightly. She hoped he did the same with his other leg so she wouldn't have to. " Make the tsaheylu, Lo'ak."

The boy made the bond with the ilu. He watched as Tÿlana placed her hands on the ilu's head, rubbing gently to calm it down while Ikary adapted to the bond. For what felt like the first time, she smiled at him. Like genuinely smiled. He noticed she had deep dimples on both of her cheeks when she smiled. In his head, it was so adorable.
