AS ALWAYS.... I would like to reiterate that I do not condone these behaviors IRL. I know I'm a broken record, but plz don't think this type of behavior is ever excusable... u deserve to be treated very nicely.... Anyways

I burst into Lucius's office, panicked and in tears.

He looked up from the parchment he was holding as he sat at his desk.

"Y/N—?"

"Lucius—" I gasped in desperation through quick breaths and he dropped the paper he held and stood up immediately, "It's...it's Draco. You...you have to stop him."

"What's happened?" he asked with an even voice as he walked towards where I stood in the doorway—grabbing his cane from where it leaned next to the door.

"He's—he's going to kill Theo."

His face grew dark.

"Where is he?" he demanded.

"On the side of the road, if you turn to the right from the driveway and go down—look, I'll just show—" I began to turn.

"You will do no such thing," he stopped me with a hand, adding, "I want you to stay here."

He apparated from where he stood before I could react.

I paced his office, anxious and reeling.

It had all happened so quickly.

Why had Draco decided to come back? And how did he know where we were? Was it just coincidence?

My mind raced for answers.

Five minutes went by and I curled up on the settee in the corner of Lucius's office—heart beating in my ears.

In the next five minutes—I'd began chewing on my nails.

I heard the front door slam and I froze, pulling my hand from my mouth as I listened intently.

Draco was shouting words I couldn't make out and then Lucius's voice interjected every so often from down the hall—they were arguing.

A minute passed and I didn't move from the office.

"Draco—" Lucius was calling after him, his voice closer now.

Two pairs of footsteps—Draco entered the office, his father following.

"What—" I began but was interrupted by an enraged Draco.

"You're never allowed to go near Theodore Nott again, Y/N. I forbid it," Draco said with his nostrils flared.

Draco? ...forbidding me? Was he mental?

I was in shock—nothing could've prepared me for that.

"Excuse me?" I said half offended, half confused with a deep frown, "I—"

"Tell him, Y/N," Draco interrupted like it was a threat.

He'd never talked to me like that before.

And why was he so angry?

I shook my head, confused on what he wanted me to say, "What are you—"

"Theo was about 2 seconds away from taking her up against a tree. And Otto told me he found him in her bedroom yesterday," he spat at Lucius.

Lucius gave me the kind of look I'd imagined he'd give me if he found out I was convicted of a crime.

My mouth dropped in disbelief.
