Chapter 14 ~ Back Home

Y/n, Sapphire, Carmen and Harry had been at Burnywood for three weeks now. In total, Y/n had been in thirteen fights and the one she was about to start would be her worst.

Burnywood was literally a prison, Dennis (The head care worker) locked everything including the cupboards, fridges, everything. Y/n's body was beaten and bruised but the people she had fought had turned out worse. Sapphire, Carmen and Harry were all with Y/n in her room when Dom (one of the Burnywood kids) walked in without knocking.

"Get out Dom." Y/n warned, not even looking up from her book. He stood there and she looked up, "Are you deaf?" She stood up and walked towards him, he just smirked and looked at her.

"I just wanted to ask something." He told her calmly, she raised an eyebrow, "I wanted to ask Carmen something." He wandered over to Carmen and sat next to her, dangerously close, "Did I ever tell you I thought you were pretty?" He asked Carmen, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Go away." Carmen shuffled away from him but he moved towards her. Sapphire held Harry away from him and looked at Y/n who nodded.

"Didn't you hear her?" Y/n asked, stepping forward.

"Carmen's not complaining." Dom smirked at Carmen who gulped and Y/n clenched her fists. Dom started to lean towards Carmen before Y/n rushed towards him and lifted him in the air by his shirt collar.

"Go get your ears tested, creep!" She threw him at the wall and he fell to the floor before getting up and grabbing a fistful of her hair, dragging her backwards. Carmen rushed over to Sapphire who held her and Harry away from the fight. Dom pushed Y/n to the floor and sat on top of her, punching her again and again in the face. Sapphire thought she was about to give up but Y/n grabbed Dom's neck and punched him in the balls causing him to stop and she flipped him over so that she was now on top of him.

"Don't!" She punched him, "Ever!" She punched him again. "Look!" And another, "At!" Yet another, "Us!" Another hit, "Again!" She stopped and looked at the boy who was now bleeding through his nose and lip. "Understand?" She looked at him and he just smiled at her. She was confused as he showed her his hands. She looked at them before he quickly clasped both his hands around her throat and stood up, holding her in the air.

She tried pulling his hands away, her feet dangling in the air and he smiled again at her.

"Oh dear," He smirked, "I'm looking at you. What are you gonna do about it princess?" She yelled and grabbed his hair, swinging her legs forward and kicking him again just as Dennis walked in.

"What is going on!?" Dennis yelled as he grabbed the two by the backs of their shirts and pulled them away. Y/n's nose was bleeding and she had yet another black eye as well as blue hand marks around her throat. "Right!" Dennis boomed, "What happened?"

"She attacked me!" Dom pointed at Y/n.

"Yeah that's why I have your hand prints on my neck isn't it!" Y/n yelled at him.

"Shut it both of you!" Dennis demanded, before he could say anything else, Lizanne appeared at the door,

"Dennis?" She looked at him sadly, "That girl stole my necklace, it's gold with a padlock on it." She lied. Dennis looked at the necklace around Y/n's neck and raised his eyebrow.

"No, this is mine!" Y/n protested.

"Oh really? Even Lizanne wouldn't lie about something like that." Dennis told Y/n, folding his arms, "You really need to think about your behaviour Y/n or you'll be packing your bags and off to a detention centre."

"What bags?" Y/n asked him, "All my stuff got nicked last week but you were too busy smoking to notice and actually do your job properly!"

"How dare you!" Denied yelled in her face, "Give Lizanne her necklace back!" Y/n thought for a moment before sending Sapphire, Carmen and Harry a wink.
