Y/n was with Sapphire and Tracy looking at flats for when Sapphire moved out.

"It's all about being independent." Tracy explained as they looked around the dingy room, "Of course you won't be leaving the dumping ground for a while yet so this actual flat might not be empty then."

"It'll be roughly the same though," Sapphire sighed, "Ground floor you get the garden, top floor you get the views."

"Yep." Tracy nodded.

"Ugh how am I supposed to survive without you." Y/n dramatically raised the back of her hand to her forehead.

"You better visit me every week." Sapphire laughed at Y/n who nodded.

"I still think our room at home is gonna be better than this dung hole." Y/n scrunched up her face as she looked around the room.

"It just needs a bit of colour." Sapphire looked at the walls, imagining each and every detail of paint that she would decorate it with, "Might get some curtains."

"Ooh! Scatter cushions!" Y/n suggested,

"Absolutely!" Sapphire agreed.

"No, there is something about that in here." Tracy picked up the policy book and flipped through the pages, "Residents are prohibited from supplying their own soft furnishings." She read out.

"What? Why?" Sapphire whined.

"I don't know," Tracy shrugged, "Fire risk I guess. Best to be on the safe side."

"Sucks though, doesn't it." Y/n sighed, walking out of the room with Sapphire.

"It's not that bad." Tracy tried to persuade. They made their way to the bathroom and stood in it.

"It's just a bit dirty that's all." Sapphire said, looking around.

"That's an understatement honey." Y/n groaned looking at the mould that was crawling up the walls, "Give us a couple of hours and we can have this place spotless though." She tried to stay positive.

"Residents are prohibited from supplying their own cleaning materials." Tracy read out from the book and the two girls groaned.

"You are joking me." Sapphire threw her head back in annoyance.

"Only eco-friendly products are allowed." Tracy read further.

"Yeah cause mould is very eco friendly." Sapphire scoffed.

"It's organic I guess." Y/n shrugged before following Sapphire to the kitchen.

"At least I'll be able to cook what I want when I want." Sapphire looked at the small kitchen, "Maybe a little candle on the table." She pointed at the table in the middle of the small room.

"No candles." Tracy read out.

"I'll get a lamp." Sapphire shrugged.

"All electrical products must be tested." Tracy read out again.

"What they expect her to cook chips in the dark?" Y/n frowned.

"Deep fat fryer are-" Tracy started,

"Prohibited?" Sapphire and Y/n both finished.

"Anything else I should know?" Sapphire watched as Tracy looked through the book and took a deep breath.

"No posters. No pets. No painting the walls. No music after ten. No more than three visitors at any given time. Friends staying the night are absolutely prohibited. Anyone under the age of 18 must have written permission from their parents-"
