[ Chapter Twenty-Nine: Family growing bigger ]

Age: 20

BOTH MIA AND I WERE AT THE STATES, visiting our mother and Patrick in San Fransisco. Jeremiah and Rupert were here as well, but visiting his parents since they haven't seen each other since Rupert was born. I opted to gave grandma the reigns back in Genovia for the mean time as I was out of the country.

"What's this the family meeting about?" I asked Mom curiously, and she smiled at me, her eyes lingering on on my small rounded belly

"Well, we have some exciting news you two." Patrick was beginning to say, grinning widely as he went to sit down next to my mom

"What is it? Are you moving to Genovia?" Mia questioned the married couple in front of us eagerly, bouncing on her seat

"No, honey, we're not. We'll visit but wont live there." Mom reminded Mia and she frowned slightly before nodding her head

"So what's the big surprise?" I asked them curiously, my eyes flickering between Patrick and my mom

"I'm having a baby!" Mom squealed excitedly, standing up from her seat abruptly and I did the same, both our eyes widening

"You're having a baby!" Both Mia and I exclaimed in shock at the news, and she nodded her head with a grin

"I'm so happy for you, Mom." Mia congratulated Mom, standing up and she rushed over to the other side of the table to give her a hug

"Congrats Patrick, do you know what you guys are having?" I asked Patrick curiously, giving him a brief hug

"We do, you two are having a little sister." Patrick happily said, glancing at Mom from the corner of his eye

"Patrick, stop lying to them. It's a boy, I'm a few weeks behind you it seems." Mom gushed to me happily and I smiled, leaning over to give her a hug

"I'm so happy for you, Mom." I whispered into her ear, hugging her tighter before I went to stand next to her, nudging her playfully with my belly

"Mom, Patrick, twins?" Mia asked them playfully, giving Patrick a brief shock and his eyes widened slightly, before glancing at Mom

"Nope, just a singular baby." Mom informed us with a smile, and I tilted my head to the side, and I knew that if I actually glanced at her sideways, I'll probably will see a small bump
