[ Chapter Three: Princess Belle & Princess Jasmine ]

AGE: 6

PRINCESS BELLE & PRINCESS JASMINE, also known as Mary & Mia Thermopolis to everyone else except for this day. Halloween, the one time of year they receive free candy without any complaints. Of course, the twins complained when their mom dragged them to get their candy x-rayed in case if it razor blades or something.

Michael and Lilly were going to as Hansel & Gretel much to the chagrin of Jeremiah who wanted to team up with Michael as superheroes. Since if he were to put a hero costume, he would be alone so he decided to be Merlin instead and had Michael's dog, Pavlov, dressed as King Arthur. Pavlov wore a small red cape with a golden paper crown that had a small band so that it wouldn't fall off his head.

Mary had on a white cardigan over her yellow dress to cover her arms in the chilly weather while Mia had to wear long johns beneath her see-through harem pants. According to Mia, the long johns definitely ruined the look. Helen even made sure that Lilly, Jeremiah, and Michael were covered as well. 

Jeremiah didn't have to obey her due to him already being covered by a long sleeve and over that he wore a purple cloak. Michael at least didn't have the shorts costume, instead, he wore the pants version and wore a green jacket to cover his arms due to the white collard shirt he wore. Lilly wore long johns underneath her dress and had a white coat for later. 

Mia wasn't wearing a jacket or cardigan but their mother already had one packed for her later in her bag. Helen wasn't dressed as anybody this time due to not having enough time to pick one. It was a disappointment to the children but they were fine when Helen promised them that they could have a sleepover that night. 

Both Helen and Mary were happy that Mia had chosen not to wear her Snow White costume. They both have had enough with the Snow White obsession and the four birthdays years when it was all about Snow White. Mary was the only one who knew the real reason why Mia had not been Snow White but she would never tell a soul that she threw it away in the garbage when she got the chance.
