(This is set during s4, last day before spring break)
"Max hey!" Y/n says following her down the corridor after waiting for her patiently outside ms Kelly's office
"Are you stalking me or something?" Max says annoyed, quickly walking down the hallway.
"Oh I just wanted to know if you were joining hellfire tonight, we're down a person, it's kind of a big deal" y/n explains
"A big deal, y/n you really care bout this stuff? Max's tone becoming more aggressive
"Yeah.. I do.. maybe you should find something you care about too" y/n stutters.
Max stops in her tracks and turns around, frustrated.
"What the hell is that suppose to mean?"
"It's like....like... your not even here anymore.. like your a ghost or something"y/n states.
"A ghost?" Max is taken aback.
"Max... I know somethings wrong" y/n says trying to calm down the conversation.
"Yeah right... something must be wrong with me... because I broke up with you" max says trying to find an excuse.
"No that's.. not what I meant" y/n responds.
"Y/n.. look people just change.. okay? It's that simple. I've changed" max says trying to avoid eye contact, she can't stand to see y/n sad even if she's mad at her. Max then turns to the bathroom door using it as an escape from the conversation. Max stops. The redhead turns around.
"Good luck" she reluctantly says now turning back to the bathroom door pushing it open. Y/n stands there thinking about what just happened devastated by Max's reaction, not because she didn't want to go to hellfire, because she just wanted to spend time with her, like before.
