It was the last day of school before summer break the tigers were playing tonight so you'd have to attend their match, although you don't really care for basketball Lucas is playing so you always go for him. After the last class ends you have about an hour before the game starts. Some students hang out on the bleachers some in the cafeteria but you went to the library. You knew it would be quiet and you often spent time there alone. Recently you had been reading a d&d handbook as you wanted to get better at playing, especially to beat Mike. Once you finished up in the library you headed to the bathrooms to put on some fun makeup to show your school spirit. The sinks were full of makeup bags and the cheer team flooded the mirrors  Once again you were only doing this for Lucas, you lost a bet to him and now have to use glitter and paint which you know isn't coming off. Once your face was decorated with orange and green you headed to the gymnasium to get a good seat. Once you got there you were met with Mike and Dustin who looked like they would rather be anywhere but there.

"I'm just saying suzie is a genius she's obviously better" Dustin comments.

"El literally has super powers are you kidding me" Mike argues. The boys suddenly acknowledge your presence and turn to you.

"Y/n who's the better girlfriend suzie or el" Dustin asks.

"I'm going to have to go with el, she's a badass and I'm not convinced suzies real" y/n replied.

"What she's real what about... our song" Dustin says with regret.

"You mean the song I didn't hear, yeah I was in the mall with Mike,el and max you have no proof" y/n argues.

"Just ask will he heard" Dustin retaliated.

"You mean the same will who's in California" Mike asks. Dustin is left speechless at this comment.

"Hey uhm have any of you seen max?" You asks breaking the silence.

"Haven't seen her, why?" Mike replied.

"Oh I just thought she'd be her-" y/n is cut off by the sound of  a microphone screeching.

"GIVE IT UP FOR HAWKINS OWN TIGERS!" The coach shouts. As soon as the team runs out and you see Lucas you jump up in the air showing him your face paint which he laughs at initially. As the whistle is blown and the game begins, max suddenly appears to your left.

"Max! I didn't think you'd make it!"

"Yeah I'm here just got out of detention" max said rolling her eyes. The game goes on for a while and finally ends with the tigers winning. While leaving the gymnasium max pulls you aside behind a tree near the parking lot.

"Hey what Is it?" Y/n asks.

"You have something on your cheek" max says getting closer caressing it with her and thumb looking into your eyes every few seconds.

"Oh is it the glitter I knew that stuff wasn't coming off I bet it's ruined from all the cheering" y/n sighs.

"No it's not that" max said.

"Oh then what is it?" Y/n asks. Max moves closer to y/n, her hot breath hitting her cheek before her soft lips connected with her skin. She pulls away and walks off waving and saying goodnight. Y/n just stands there joyful, her cheek stained with Max's lipstick.
