Cassie had always loved playing pretend with her father, Scott Lang. They would come up with all sorts of scenarios, from superhero battles to epic quests through imaginary lands. But today, Cassie had something else in mind.

"Dad, can we play pretend marriage?" Cassie asked eagerly.

Scott chuckled. "Sure thing, Cassie. Who's the lucky groom?"

Cassie thought for a moment before grinning. "You, of course!"

Scott played along, taking on the role of the groom as they pretended to exchange vows and rings. They laughed and joked as they went through the motions of a pretend wedding ceremony, Cassie playing the blushing bride and Scott the doting groom.

But as they finished up, Scott's expression grew serious. "Cassie, I have to tell you something. I can't really play pretend marriage with you like this."

Cassie looked confused. "Why not?"

"Because I'm already married," Scott said, a note of pride and happiness in his voice.

Cassie's eyes widened. "Really? To who?"

"To your other dad, Y/N," Scott said, his smile growing even wider.

Cassie looked thoughtful for a moment. "What's it like to be in love?"

Scott's expression softened. "It's the best feeling in the world, Cassie. When you find someone who makes you feel happy and whole and loved, it's like everything else fades away. It's like nothing else matters."

Cassie nodded, taking in her father's words. "Do you think I'll find true love someday?"

Scott's grin returned. "Of course you will, Cassie. You're a wonderful person, and you have so much love to give. Someday, you'll find someone who makes you feel just as happy and loved as Y/N makes me feel."

As they talked, neither of them noticed Y/N standing in the doorway, listening to their conversation with a soft smile on their face. They knew how lucky they were to have each other, and they were grateful every day for the love they shared.

But they were also grateful for moments like this, when they could see how much Cassie loved and looked up to them, and they knew that they had built a beautiful family together.

As Cassie and Scott finished up their pretend game and went off to do other things, Y/N couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with love for their family. They knew that they were truly blessed to have each other, and they were grateful for every moment they spent together.
