The werewolves saw them out, some looking suspiciously and anxiously at how the two that arrived yesterday were heading out and taking Tundra with them. Tundra assured them she was going on her own accord and there was no need to be alarmed.
"So where are we going?" Keir asked and Aaron turned to look at him as he continued to walk forward.
"Are you telling me you came with us not knowing where we are going?" Aaron asked somewhat amazed when Keir nodded to confirm.
"I just didn't want to be left out; last thing I need is for the two of you to elope and leave me with a pack of dozen or so werewolves asking when the Heiress would be back." He pouted. Aaron was unaware just how high they held their regards for Tundra.
"They are a little too... what's the word?" She spun her wrist in a circle trying to draw out the right adjective or for Aaron or Keir fill it into her sentence. "Worrisome? In a sense they look after me a little too much."
Aaron walked quietly. Even after all that time away from Arkbowel he missed it dearly. Tundra felt his homesickness and slowed down her pace, taking his hand and walking along side him. Neither said a word but they both understood what the other had to say.
For the sake of their identities they wore their dark cloaks with hoods over their heads. It was mainly because of Aaron needed to hide his hair; Tundra wore it for compassion for her lover and Keir because (again) he didn't want to be left out.
Do remember Aaron has been proclaimed dead and due to the whole cultist situation more guards have been dispatched around; it would cause a lot of problems if anyone recognise him. Though, in the times he was away his appearance changed drastically that hardly anyone would recognise him without taking a longer glance; aside from Sir Cameron and his buddies Elias and Lloyd that is.
Yes, he was so homesick that he even missed Lloyd's quips and teases. He shook off the thoughts of home the best he could as they walked towards creating a different kind of future.
They arrived at a regular looking town, regular people walking by not paying mind to the three people in dark hooded cloaks who were obviously suspicious and hiding their identities. Aaron looked around and bumped into someone.
"Sorry." He apologized but the man continued walking like nothing happened. Aaron thought of it a strange encounter. The further they went n the more abnormal the scene became.
All the people stopped moving and stood still like statues; only difference between them and a statue was that they were made of flesh and lightly breathing. Then they began moving again.
"What in the name...? This is weird; I don't like it." Keir asked taking his hood off. He walked in front of the nearest person, waving his hand in front of their eyes. There was no feedback.
"This guy looks like his soul left his body. Like a puppet on strings." Keir shivered. "I hate puppets... Can we go? I think we should go."
Aaron would have agreed; there was obviously something wrong here and Aaron wanted nothing to do with it; the whole area was giving him creeps. He felt a spying eye to his back left.
When he swiftly turned he saw something move, but not move in the way everything else in the town was moving; it was more alive and free willed. He decided to follow it should it lead him to the possible cause for the abnormal acts of townsfolk.
Aaron rushed through alleys in pursuit of whatever was running away from him; he reached a point where it would be near impossible for him to pass through the small gap so he had to jump over. Since he would be jumping anyway he would be a lot quicker to catch up jumping the roofs.
