The elders looked over what Aaron had told them, they looked and discussed privately clearly disagreeing with either Tundra's actions, or Aaron's actions, in some cases it looked like they were also disagreeing among themselves.
Of course, the prime task set by the packs leader at the time for the werewolf pack was to look over the legacy of the Tereis clan as it was passed on down the line, as a commemoration of their friendship and good relations in the past 150 years that the Tereis clan had with the werewolves. Having Tundra show up meant their actions to preserve the Tereis clan as a whole was not in vain.
Now that the whereabouts of the sole remaining blood relative of the Tereis clan is unknown it was likely to lead to disaster and demoralization within the pack would occur. Having no children yet to take her place in the absence could only induce a mass panic.
"Young man..." The elder finally addressed Aaron after a long discussion with the other two elders. Aaron steeled himself to listen to whatever kind of slander they were about to send his way and had prepared a comeback. Instead of what he had imagined, the elder smacked her lips. "Find her and bring her back... please."
Determination brimmed from him; he requested that Conlead gets treated properly, with no discrimination thrown his way. Aaron added that Tundra wouldn't be thrilled to see the boy she risked everything to make it out treated poorly, just to be safe; the elders complied with that request.
He went to see where Conlead had gone off to say goodbye before setting out. Once he stumbled up on the room he found the exhausted little hellhound boy fast asleep. He wondered how many times Sir Cameron stumbled in like that before heading out on a mission away from Arkbowel. He began to write him a note, he recalled Sir Cameron doing that. He paused; Conlead was still young; does he know how to read?
He was burning daylight; once he gets Tundra back he can worry about the rest.
After six tedious days of travelling by cart, the two dragon warriors that set out to seek for who could possibly be their new brother or sister arrive to Ironville. They put on their hoods and disembarked from the cart. The town was not bigger than Keir remembered only more crowded.
The merchant thanked them for providing protection for these past several days. It irked Keir that the man was so thankful even though nothing happened during the entire trip, still he didn't want to be mean about the man's sincerity.
Farenon's nose kept itching, the salt air made him all uncomfortable. "Is this your first time by the sea?" Keir asked curiously, Eversteria is in the very middle of the mainland.
"Second time, I still don't like the feeling of salt nestling in my nostrils." He continued to rub his nose. "Alright now, you've been quiet all this time on the cart why are we here exactly?"
"We are here to recruit the dragon. Since Tundra is the only member of the Tereis clan that's still alive, she wants to turn the Tereis hall into the Dragon guild." Farenon looked at Keir with narrowed eyes as he spoke. "It's still a work in progress..."
Farenon was still unconvinced the idea would work out the way they planned; he brought up the issues Tundra had already mentioned when bringing up her idea. Keir was slightly shaken how much he sounded like Tundra. "Are you alright? You turned a little pale..."
"Tundra said the same thing..." Keir whispered and rubbed his eyes smearing the tear that was about to form. Farenon asked him about it. "Salt got in my eye..."
"You can try to sell that to someone else, I ain't buying it." Farenon replied. His face turned into a grimace and he sneezed. "Let's go already; this air is driving me insane."
