As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit.

Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.

11 Nagsiling pa ang Ginoo, "Kon parte sa inyo nga mga Israelinhon, hilwayon ko ang mga nabihag sa inyo. Daw pareho sila sa tawo nga ginhulog sa bubon nga wala sing tubig. Hilwayon ko sila tungod sang akon kasugtanan sa inyo nga ginpalig-on paagi sa dugo. 12 Kamo nga mga nabihag nga nagalaom nga mahilway, magbalik na kamo sa inyo mabakod nga mga lugar. Karon nagasiling ako sa inyo nga ibalik ko sing doble ang mga nadula sa inyo.

SERMON:

Good morning Church! Our Word today speaks about the Word of God spoken through the Prophet Zechariah to the Israelites at the time of their captivity where God tells the people to go back to their own land. God does this to honor His covenant that He made with His people and He also promises restoration that is even greater than before.

What's amazing about this is that God is telling this to a people who were exiled because of their unfaithfulness to Him. God made a covenant with the people long time ago when He delivered the people from Egypt that He will be their God and they will be His people.

This covenant between God and the people of Israel was a sealed relationship accompanied by signs, sacrifices and a solemn oath that sealed the relationship with promises of blessing if the people would keep the promise and there would be curses if they break it. If the people would obey God, they will be blessed but if they disobey God, there will be curses. Amu na tani ka simple ang kasugtanan sang Giinuo kag sa Iyang mga katawhan but guess what?

Israel broke not just one of the laws of God but they broke everyone of them. Pagpanaog pa lang gani ni Moses dala ang 10 commandments, wala na. Nakasala na sila dayun sa command nga thou shalt not have any other God's before Me. Kay pagpanaog ni MOses sa Mt. Sinai, naabtan ya nga gaparty party ya ang mga tawo, nagpahubog kag nagsaot-saot kag nagasimba sa baka nga bulawan! Daw ka familiar nga scenario?

Ang iban diri siguro makarelate sini. Simba kuno pero may hinubog. Wala ngakahimaya ang Ginuo kung dili si San Miguel, indi man baka nga bulawan pero gakahimaya ang Pula nga Kabayo. So daw gin into ta lang ang kaugalingon ta mg amu sini. Kay ang Ginuo wala nagakahimaya sa paghubog hubog, kag wild parties kay ang Ginuo balaan.

Ang Ginuo indi gid na ya mahimaya kung may gatwerk-twerk, may ga lower-lower may ga wave-wave kay ang gusto ya sang Ginuo nga tagaan naton respeto ang aton lawas kay Iya ini nga Templo. Diin ka ya kita Templo nga may ga tingting tangtang? Diin ka ya kakita Templo nga ga twerk? Diin ka kita Templo nga may ga lower-lower?

Bisan sa aton nubo nga pamensaron ang ini ng mga bagay, alang-alang gid ni buhaton sa sulod Templo. Hinumduma nga ang mtuod-tuod nga Templo sang Ginuo indi ang istratura kung indi kita mismo. Gani dapat naton pahalagahan ang aton lawas.

And so over the years, the people of Israel kept on breaking each law even when God already sent them many prophets to rebuke and correct them pero ang mga tawo nagpakatig-a kag wala namati sa mga mensahero sang Ginuo. Amu nga ang Ginuo naakig sa ila kag ginpabihag sila sa ila nga mga kaaway. Ginpabihag sila sang Ginuo sa mga taga Babylonia.

And so they were exiled for more than 70 years. Kung sa relasyon pa, nag cool off ang Ginuo kag ang mga tawo kay nangin unfaithful ang mga tawo sa Ginuo. Ang mga taga Israel daw asawa nga nagluib sa iya nga bana. Amu nga naakig ang Ginuo kag ginpalayas sila sa duta nga ginsaad para sa ila. Sin-o di kaagi cool-off? Teh ngbalikanay kamo o nadayunan na lang gid bulagay?
