Matthew 26:69-73 Have an Undeniable Faith

69 Now Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came to him. "You also were with Jesus of Galilee," she said.

70 But he denied it before them all. "I don't know what you're talking about," he said.

71 Then he went out to the gateway, where another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, "This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth."

72 He denied it again, with an oath: "I don't know the man!"

73 After a little while, those standing there went up to Peter and said, "Surely you are one of them; your accent gives you away."

69 Si Pedro didto pa sa lagwerta nga nagapungko. May nagpalapit sa iya nga babayi nga suluguon sang pangulo nga pari kag nagsiling, "Indi bala kaupod ka man ni Jesus nga taga-Galilea?" 70 Pero ginpanginwala ni Pedro ini sa tanan nga tawo didto sa guwa. Siling niya, "Wala ako kahibalo kon ano ang imo ginahambal." 71 Dayon nagkadto siya sa may puwertahan. Nakita siya sang isa naman ka suluguon nga babayi, kag nagsiling sa mga tawo didto, "Ini nga tawo kaupod man ni Jesus nga taga-Nazaret." 72 Sa liwat ginpanginwala ini ni Pedro kag nagsiling, "Ginasumpa ko, wala ako kakilala sa tawo nga inyo ginasiling!" 73 Sa wala madugay nagpalapit kay Pedro ang mga tawo didto kag nagsiling, "Kaupod ka gid ni Jesus, kay ang imo panghambal pareho sa iya."

Happy Resurrection Day, Church!

Today, many of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ celebrate the Easter Sunday, ang pista sa pagkabanhaw kay kita nga mga Kristyano natuo nga si Kristo namatay pero sa ikatatlo nga adlaw nabanhaw Siya gikan sa mga minatay.

This is one of the greatest mysteries of our faith, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. And so we are one in celebrating this with the rest of the believers.

Glory to God that we are safe and sound na nakabalik from a very victorious mission that the Lord has given us sa Bucari, Leon. Indeed, ang pagsunod sa Ginuo kay indi gid boring. We get to serve the Lord, be a blessing to others and be blessed as well, and enjoy at the same time. Sa Diyos ang tanan nga himaya!

Last night, before I took an early rest kay palanakit ang akon mga tiil sa kakapoy, to which I believe damu ang maka relate, I already prayed and read the passage for today, which is Matthew 26. Pero isa ni siya sa pinakahaba nga chapters and damu siya wisdom points.

But you know, bisan damu pa wisdom points, indi naton mabuo ang message if the Lord doesn't reveal what He really wants to point out at a particular time or season. And I believe that the Word is alive. Kung ano ang ginahatag sang Ginuo nga Pulong, amu gid na ya ang gakatabo. Timely message gid na. So I believe that the message today has something to do with Resurrection.

Kay sa 7 years naton diri sa ministry, not one message ang nagpalya to speak a timely message no matter where the Word would take us, it always. always falls on the right and proper occasion. This is how we know that the message is not just plucked out and tailored to suit our situation or what we want, but it is a Word from God Himself that serves as instruction and guide as we live life everyday, because again, His Word is the lamp unto our feet and the light unto our path. Ang Pulong sang Ginuo ang naga giya sa aton para indi kita magtalang sa adlaw adlaw naton nga ginabuhat. Glory to God for the power in His Word.

However, today, if we read on the surface, of Matthew 26, daw kalayo man sa resurrection kay teh sa diri nga passage, it tells about the moments nga gindakop pa lang si Jesus sa Gethsemane. So, kung huna-hunaon daw ka alanganin para sa Resurrection but then I tell you, how amazing it is when the Lord reveals His wisdom. Sakto gid para subong nga adlaw.
