"Hey babe," Luke smirks leaning on the back of Y/N's chair as she studies in Princeton Prep Academy's library. "Hey Luke," Y/N grins leaning back against his stomach and looking up at him, "So I'm throwing a party on the weekend and wanted know if you wanted to come," Luke says coming to sit down on the table next to her, his foot resting on her chair, "Who are you inviting, you don't know anyone here?" Y/N laughs making Luke roll his eyes, "Obviously people from my old school," Luke says, "And I invited Michael!" Y/N laughs, "Yeah okay, I'll come, can't let your friends think you're a loner at your new school can I?" Y/N teases making Luke shake his head in amusement, "Gee thanks babe," Luke grins leaning forward, resting his elbows on his knees, his head inches away from Y/N's, "I'll see you this weekend," Luke breathes biting on his lip ring before hoping off the table, leaving Y/N breathless once again.

Luke takes a sip of his beer, the bitter liquid sliding down his throat as he watches everyone dance around him, drinks in their hands. "So when are we going to meet this girl you never shut up about?" Calum asks throwing his arm around Luke's shoulders as Ashton skulls his beer back, "When she gets here, and no telling her I like her, she has a boyfriend," Luke says sternly watching as some guy knocks over one of his dad's sculptures making everyone jump at the loud sound, "It'll be fine," Luke waves it off as Y/N walks through the door, Daniel's arm around her waist. Luke withholds the urge to roll his eyes as he greets them, "New kids' got a flash house," Daniel nods looking around as Y/N mouths 'sorry' to Luke, who just smiles, "Drinks are in the kitchen, which is down the hall on the left," Luke instructs, "Thanks Luke," Y/N grins, cringing slightly as Daniels grip on her waist tightens. "No worries, babe," Luke smirks sipping at his beer watching with amusement as Daniel glares at him, "C'mon baby, lets get a drink," Daniel glares at Luke as he leads Y/N to the kitchen, "You do realise he could destroy you," Michael pipes up from behind Luke, leaning on the stairwell with a beer in his hand, "Probably, but it's so much fun winding him up," Luke grins making Michael laugh, "Come meet my mates," Luke smiles nodding towards Calum and Ashton before leading Michael over to where Cal and Ash are standing.

Luke leans against the balcony as Calum takes a drag of his cigarette beside him, "You know I never thanked you for taking the blame for the science department shit," Calum says breathing out the smoke, "It's cool man, you had more to lose than me," Luke grins lazily as Y/N opens the door, "Hey you," she smiles, "Hey babe, this is Calum, Cal this is Y/N," Luke says, "Nice to meet you, Y/N. Luke has told me so much about you," Calum smirks, putting out his cigarette. "No I haven't," Luke says punching Calum in the arm, "Not surprised, I am amazing," Y/N grins cheekily at Luke, "I'll leave you too to talk," Calum winks before slipping back inside. "Where's your boyfriend?" Luke asks taking another sip of his beer, "Probably looking around your house with jealousy," Y/N giggles, "He doesn't scare me ya know?" Luke murmurs wrapping his jacket around Y/N's shoulders, "He doesn't look scary, but he can do some damage, believe me," Y/N shivers as another cool breeze whips past them, "He's kind of a dick, why're you dating him?" Luke asks, "Good question," Y/N responds taking Luke's beer out of his hand and taking a sip, "It's just something that happened," Y/N says looking out across Luke's large lawn, that is lush and green and has garden ornaments scattered around tastefully, surrounded by a large gravel driveway, that was filled with cars from guests attending Luke's party. "I was his tutor and I don't know we just clicked," Y/N continues taking another swig of Luke's beer, "And now do you still click?" Luke asks cocking his head to the side, "Since you turned up, no," Y/N huffs, "You mean I've turned your relationship upside down?" Luke gasps amusement still laced in his voice, "You know you have," Y/N grins, "What can I say? I get what I want," Luke murmurs turning to face Y/N his face inches from hers, "Who said you've got me?" Y/N quips, sucking her bottom lip into her mouth, biting on the pink flesh making Luke's dick twitch in his pants, "C'mon babe, I know you're attracted to me," He grins hearing Y/N's breath hitch as his hands slide under her shirt, caressing her lower back, his fingers tracing shapes onto the soft skin. "How do you know that?" Y/N asks raising an eyebrow, "Because of the way you rub your thighs together," Luke grins trailing and hand down to her inner thigh, "And the way your breathing changes, it's shallow whenever I'm close to you," Luke trails his hand from her thigh up to her wrist, resting his index finger and middle finger against the skin, "And your pulse races, it's racing right now," Luke says lifting her wrist up to his lips, pressing a soft kiss where his fingers were resting moments ago, "All signs of attraction yes?" Luke questions cheekily, "Shut up," Y/N grins as Luke cups her jaw, softly swiping his thumb against her cheek, "I'd kiss you, but your boyfriend is about to come out here," Luke breathes quickly stepping away from Y/N leaving her cold and again breathless.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Daniel bellows, "We weren't doing anything, Daniel, calm down," Y/N says pulling him away from Luke who was rolling his eyes, "Bullshit, he had his hands all over you," Daniel growls, his hands balled into fists, "Don't tell me you're jealous of little ol' me?" Luke smirks as Daniel pushes Luke up against the window, his forearm against Luke's throat, "Not so tough now are you?" Daniel spits, making Luke glare at him, "I'm not scared of you, but you're scaring Y/N/N," "Daniel please let him go," Y/N pleads, fear in her eyes as she tugs on his free hand, Daniel puts more pressure on Lukes throat causing the boy to struggle against him, "Stay the fuck away from Y/N," Daniel growls letting him go as he pulls Y/N inside leaving Luke to cough and rub at his throat. "Dude what the fuck happened to your neck?" Michael asks as Luke walks back inside, "It's nothing," Luke mumbles catching Y/N's eye as she gets dragged along by Daniel, she mouths a quick sorry before exiting out the front door his hand digging into her wrist making Luke's blood boil with rage. "Luke what happened to your neck dude?" Calum asks poking at the reddened skin, "Nothing, make sure you lock up once everyone leaves," Luke instructs "Where are you going?" Calum asks as Luke turns to walk upstairs, "I'm over this party," Luke sighs before ascending the stairs.

Luke unlocks his locker with the flick of his wrist before transferring the heavy textbooks from his bag to his locker, his earphones in, as he listens to All Time Low blast in his ears. He jumps when he feels a hand on his bicep, he quickly pulls out his earphones, "Hey," Y/N murmurs, lifting her hand off of his arm, he sees a purple and yellow mark peeking out from under her blazer, his blood running cold as he realises Daniel bruised her by dragging her out of his house. Luke knew it wasn't all his fault, but he'd known Daniel was watching his and Y/N's close interaction at the party, but he didn't expect Y/N to get hurt in the process, that was something he never wanted. "Hey," Luke sighs closing his locker, "I'm really sorry about the party, are you okay?" Y/N asks looking at his neck, "I'm fine, I actually have to get going," Luke lies, picking up his now light backpack, "Luke, I'm so sorry," Y/N says quietly, Luke's heart breaks at her tone, he quickly cups her face in his hands, "It's not your fault okay babe?" Luke says pressing a gentle peck to her forehead, "You can't even look at me," Y/N whispers, "It's not because I'm mad at you, Y/N/N," Luke murmurs swiping his thumbs over her cheeks, "Then what?" Y/N asks taking his hands off her face and entwining them with her own, Luke sighs squeezing her hands gently, "It's because I don't want you getting hurt okay," Luke subconsciously runs his thumb over her bruise, "It's only a bruise Luke," "Not going to risk it, just stay away from me okay?" Luke says pulling his hands away from hers, "That's not what I want," Y/N calls after Luke as she watches his retreating figure walk away from her, again leaving her breathless but in the worst way possible.
