|Chapter Three: Settling Your Affairs.|
Friday.
Olivia.
She sat on her bed across from her two best friends, Joselyn (aka, Josie), and Estrella (aka, Essie). They were both blonde bombshells and totally gorgeous. However, Josie was somewhat of a hard-ass who didn’t take anyone’s shit, while Essie was…well, she was a ditz. There were just some things in life that Essie didn’t get. Take sarcasm as an example, if she were to point out that it was raining while it was quite obviously raining, and someone responded with, ‘no, really?’ she’d simply turn around and say, ‘yeah, that’s what I just said.’
Both were very different, but their level of gorgeousness was positively on the same wavelength. The pair sat on Olivia’s bed in shock. However, Josie was the first to break the silence.
She turned toward Tanner, who was lounging on Olivia’s desk chair with absolute awe etched onto his adorable face. “Did you know about this?”
He blinked rapidly and shook his head. “Me? Why would I know about this?”
Josie shook her head and let out a huff. “I don’t know. I just thought that she would have told you first since you two are practically like this.” She said as she crossed her fingers together. She turned to Essie. “Es, what’s your take on this?”
Essie was sprawled across Olivia’s mattress, practically spooning with Olivia’s dragon pillow-pet. She shifted into a more comfortable position as she managed to look at Josie upside down. “I think it’s awesome. I mean if she goes to Bradford then she’ll be surrounded by boys! That’s like super exciting. They’ll be so girl deprived that they’ll be all over her.”
Josie’s eyes narrowed. “Es, what part didn’t you understand when Oli said she was going undercover?”
Essie stared at Josie blankly, cuddling further into the dragon pillow-pet. “Isn’t she going to be dressed up as a cop?”
Tanner, Josie, and Olivia all stared at Essie’s befuddled expression for a moment before they all let out a frustrated sigh. Tanner face-palmed himself, a small smile stretching across his face while Josie hung her head in shame, almost as if to say, ‘I’m friends with this idiot?’
“No Essie, Liv is going to actually dress up as a guy and attend the school as a student.” Tanner clarified for her.
Essie’s eyebrows knitted together in confusion once more. “Why would she do that?”
Josie threw her hands up in the air in disbelief. “Where the hell have you been for this whole conversation?!”
Essie’s eyebrows knitted together even further. “What do you mean? I’ve been right here the whole time.”
Josie face-palmed herself and shook her head. “Why the fuck am I friends with you?” She muttered to herself.
“Let’s not focus on Essie misunderstanding what I said.” Olivia said trying to dissipate the occurring frustration and stress Josie always seemed to find herself in when she was around Essie. “The more important thing here is whether or not you guys will help me.”
Today was Friday and Olivia had called all three of her best friends to her house to let them know the good news. The morning of said day Janine (Ms. Reed) had told Olivia that she had the okay to attend Bradford Academy. Olivia had no idea how Janine had pulled it off, but she hadn’t questioned it. Come Wednesday Olivia was going to be a student at Bradford Academy for Boys. But before she left she wanted to let her friends know so they wouldn’t question her sudden disappearance.
