"J? You okay there?" Kronos asked, his voice tender.
"I-I'm fine," I stammered. Please, tell me that he didn't look into my thoughts. I don't want him to be hurt. After all, that was just my random thoughts.
He raised an eyebrow at me, and sensing that I wasn't okay, despite my words, he just embraced me - a real, warm and tight hug. How could I... how could I ever doubt his loyalty when he is being a nice boyfriend to me? I am really a bad girl.
"Jamie, tell me what's wrong," Kronos commanded. No, a different energy radiated from the Titan.
"It's nothing for you to worry about, Kronos," I murmured. "Nothing's bothering me."
"Wishing you could make better lies like your brother? Lies never get past through me."
"I... I just don't want to tell you."
"J..."
"Kronos, I'm so sorry."
This was the second time I tried to run away from the worried Titan. Why was he overprotecting me? I am not that kind of girl he would like. I'm not strong, for example. I'm not even beautiful. Why? Why does he keep saying that he loves me?
"Jamie, look at me," Kronos snarled, his voice getting sharper with irritation.
When I looked at him, tears in my eyes, he let out a small hiss and kissed me over and over.
"You... idiot," Kronos murmured, letting me cry. He brushed his hand beside my cheeks, and I wanted those golden orbs watch over me everytime, everyday. He was my sun, after all.
"... let's deal with that guy now," Kronos muttered, glaring at his 'son'. He still held my hand like he was afraid to let me go. I mean, he had such power in his hand that I yelped a bit. Real strong, guy.
So this is how the Battle of Dethroning ends, everyone. So easy, huh? But ask me, it was pretty a hard work for people who fought the god.
Zeus? He disappeared soon as the Titan approached him. Don't know why and how. But we all know that we had won this battle. Zeus disappearing meant some kind of revenge somehow later... so Kronos made me stay close to him, wherever we go. Not always, but usually when it's possible, I mean.
Now you might be wondering about the grand kissing he launched on me when I told him about my thoughts, which were haunting me.
"Jamie, I assure you, I would never, ever betray you of all demigods."
"I believe you, but..."
"J, you told me about the thing that held our love."
"Yes?" I didn't know what he meant. Not this time.
"You believe me, and I believe you, too. More important than getting my power back. More important than solving this strange problem with Luke about me being in his body. More important than getting rid of Zeus and Ouranos."
"Kro..."
"I'm never, ever, going to let you down. Never."
He then looked at me, his cold, golden set of eyes gazing over me. He then smiled - a crooked smile, but yes, he was still handsome that way.
"Promise?" I asked.
"Want me to swear on the River Styx?"
"..?"
"Oh, I'll do it, then."
He winked at me. And I blushed, knowing that he never did that so much. Hey-
STOP KISSING ME!!!
