I got home and met mum chopping the veggies to make salad, I knew she'd be mad at me for looking at her and making her make a mistake so I just went upstairs to my room like I didn't see her. "Am not mad" she said and I turned around and went to her. "Am really sorry, mum - "Our hospital could have been closed by them ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! you did this when you were 7 and I brought you to the hospital! You kept injecting that man with any injection you found, remember? The man died and I nearly got fired!" She yelled nearly in tears. "Well, I was only curious then but now it wasn't even my fault" I told her. "So it's my fault? Ok ....it's good the government didn't close our hospital - "And what If they do? Is that the only job in the planet? And that woman Is just crazy, her husband is just a senator and we can still get them reported." I explained to Mum. "Drop it, go and change upstairs" she said and poured her veggies into a bowl. I went upstairs and instead of changing, I went towards my laptop.

I searched the closed hospital on Google and I figured out that Senator. Clemson, Clementine's dad was the one who closed it himself. I found his data, his name, date of birth and so on. I immediately reported him to The President, sending along a message to reopen the hospital. I dressed up in a casual outfit and I wanted to go to Autumn's house to check up on her. My phone started buzzing non-stop and it was a message from the President. He asked me why me, an 8th grader would try interfere in politics for crying out loud.

I replied that it wasn't fair for an hospital to close for no reasonable thing. I then explained Mrs. Clemson's craziness in the hospital and how she yelled at the nurse and insulted her parents. The president got so angry and he promised me, he'd talk to them and reopen the hospital. I was so happy, I told Mum everything and her eyes welled up. " Am proud of you Dearie and am sure the President won't leave you without reward" she told me. "Mum, Autumn is sick" I told her. "I thought you guys aren't friends anymore." She said curiously. "Even if, I still have to see how she's doing" "But your lunch will get cold" I left the house hurriedly. I got a taxi straight to her house. Then I got a phone call from Damien. "Hi Damien" I greeted. "Grace, would you like to come over for dinner. I want to introduce you to my parents" he said. "I haven't told my mum, I'll get back to you. Am at Autumn's house" I said and hung up. I went towards the door as some guards blocked the way, looking at me like I was a criminal. "Hi...am Autumn's friend, and am here to see her" I said. "That's awkward, let's just pretend we don't know you" one guard said. "she may have instructed you not to let me in.

" I pleaded with them. "Ohk...." They allowed me in and I saw her mum reading a novel. "Hi, Mrs Harrison" I greeted. "Oh, doc's daughter, how are you doing? I heard you told Autumn it was over" she said. "Uhmmm....well it's just a little argument." I told Mrs. Harrison. "Ok, her room is upstairs, as you know" she smiled and continued her novel. I went upstairs to Autumn's room and her maid was feeding her some soup.

I wanted to come in but she yelled: "GET ME SOME CEREAL! NOT BITTER SOUP!!!" "Autumn!" I said as I walked in. "Grace, what are you doing here?" I asked. "We are friends, I came to check on you because you are sick" I told her. "Leave my house" she cried. She turned to the maid. "Leave my house. I am talking to you." "You can't just fire me, only madam is allowed to fire me." You wouldn't have imagined what happened next. Autumn rose up and gave the maid a loud slap. And you know what, the maid slapped her back. "You don't slap your elders" Mrs Harrison came running upstairs and gave the maid an angry look. "Did you slap my daughter" she asked the maid. "She slapped me first because i refused to leave this house" the maid protested. "Autumn, I know you can do that. Why don't you want any care from this maid? If you ever ask her to leave this house, you'll be leaving instead. Got that?" Mrs. Harrison said. She took the maid's hand and left the room. Autumn burst into angry tears as I went closer and comforted her. "Stop crying. Your temperature is still high" Autumn stopped crying and pushed me to the ground. "Stop pretending like you care about me. If you cared you would have told Damien about me and helped us be together! Instead, you took yourself upon that guy," she yelled at me. "Please stop!

I brought drinks for you. Your favorite drinks, " I put the drinks on the table. "I don't want drinks, I want green tea" and then another maid entered with green tea. "Oh my gosh, how did she know what you need" I said as the maid dropped the tea and left.
