There are many things you expect when awakening from Carbon Freezing. Being in a jail cell in a specially constructed facility is one. Being restrained in an overly complicated and pain educing device is another. Some would even say that finding yourself at the business end of a lightsaber could be an answer, but to my awakening, I found none of these to be the case.
I found my vision blurry, unclear, as a bright light was still shining. I fell to the ground, finding it was not metal, but stone, coughing, I would regain my composure, and could pull myself to my feet, if only weakly.
Rubbing my eyes, I saw...people, kneeling before me. They looked at me, wide eyed, confused, maybe even shocked. I closed my eyes, and with the use of the Force, I would reach out, and speak to the mind of one.
"Be my Voice and be my ears, tell me, where is the land I now stand upon?" I would ask.
The one I spoke to bowed, putting their head to the floor, before they said, though I understood them through their mind "You are in the lands of Hau, lands the Heaven appointed King, Great Shen." the speaker explained.
'Hau? Shen? These were....strange terms. Best I learn more.' I thought.
"Are you apart of the Republic, or Sith Empire?" I asked.
"Rep-ublic? Sith Emp-Ire? We do not know these. We are simple farmers, servants of the Emperor of Yin." The speaker said.
My eyes shut, before I would walk forward, towards the door to the room, where the light shined through.
As I left the room, I could see that I was in a rather......simple village, very....very simple. The houses were made of wood and tile, the roads were cobbled stone and dirt.
"Speaker, follow." I commanded, the individual, who was now my voice and ears, they followed, but did not turn to look towards me.
I began to walk, many noticing me, and some looked surprised. Some whispers spread, some looked away from me, bowing.
"Why do they bow?" I questioned.
"You are the Shí zhōng yǒngshì." The speaker said.
"Warrior in the stone? A strange idea.....but that made him question something......who were these people? Had they been lost and this was a world so isolated, they never get visited? Then....why was I here How long was he frozen.
"What is your name?" I questioned.
"My name is Wen, with my family name being Fan." The Speaker explained.
"You may call me.....Master." I said, best keep my identity hidden, just incase of others who may arrive.
A bell was sounded, confusing me, what did it signal? The people ran away, towards a larger area, against the steep hill, and that had a wall.
I could see the approach of men mounted upon beasts. They held sharpened stick, and tried to attack people. Raising my hand, I would use the force to blast them off their mounts. They would approach, charging towards me.
I dodged the strikes they threw with an axe they pulled. With a single strike to the chest with my fist, I used the force to strengthen the strike, using it to shatter the sternum of the attacker. With the first one collapsing, a second and third charged forward, with spear, while the other drew a bow.
I would weave between the thrusts of the spear, before with a single strike to the throat, I would crush the windpipe. An arrow flew at me. It moved oh so slow. I grabbed it, and threw it back, cutting the bow string, scaring the archer. He began to run away, before I heard the galloping of the mounts, and a man screaming a war cry.
I leaned forward, activating my Lightsaber, cutting the man off the beast, his lower half remaining on the mount, as it rode off, carrying the body of the dead.
"M...Master, thank you, the bandits have been causing problems for our people for so long, but the wheels of change move slow. Can you....Can you teach us your ways, Great Shen?" Wen requested.
"It is bold for one to request. But, In time.....Heaven may Mandate a new King, who will lead the people, in true peace." I said, crossing my arms behind me, as I looked towards the simple individual.
'Let us hope that my time in the archeives looking over the anicent armors is still good' I though.
