Nill Conca found her way through the forest, she had to throw the trees, this remote area, far to the East, she had tracked the man down, the man who blocked her kingdom with mountain forts.
The Jedi, Dio Nysus had moved to an island on the far south of a sub-continent. She found him, after nearly 30 years since he last was seen with his slave army. The general of an army of slaves, meeting the Immortal Queen of the Levant, it was ironic in a way now.
The last of the trees were broken apart as she found him. Walking down the forced open tunnel. She was angry as she walked over the unattended path. Sitting on a mound, his robes were dirty, yet tended to. A group sat around him, sitting on their legs, they were not armed, they wore basic cloth robes.
Nill walked at him, stopping, just feet from the Jedi.
"What is this? Why are you hiding? Where is your order here. Your army of light that would shatter my kingdom that you had so long ago?" Nill asked, annoyed.
Dio Nysus looked at her.
"What would making an army accomplish. I have had time to reflect. Our two peoples have been destroying each other, for life times. I have seen that we will never stop this, so I refuse the cycle." The Jedi said, not opening his eyes.
"That isn't how this is going to end. I will kill you-" Nill threatened.
"Then I will die and be reborn. The world will continue to spin, and in time, I will meet you again, and in time, you will be killed, be reborn, and I expect, we will be forever trapped in this cycle of life and death." Dio stated.
"Then what is the point of rejecting the power the force grants?" Nill asked.
"I had used the power, and was left feeling hollow, I rejected restriction, left me unsatisfied. I choose to live with only what I need and what is given." Dio explained.
"Than who are these people?" Nill asked, annoyed, pulling a alchemical blade at them.
"They chose to follow me. They believe my wisdom has made me enlightened." Dio said.
Nill Conca looked at the aged jedi. His hair was gone. He had removed his facial hair, his face was covered in wrinkles.
"So what now?" Nill questioned.
"You can do what you want, see what satisfaction comes from this. But, I will do as I want." Dio said.
The Sith, the oldest of the Sith on this world, looked at the Jedi, annoyed. Do what is wanted, yet not take it, give up power to what she could not control.
"What's the point in all this than?" Nill asked.
"It will be something we find out." Dio said.
The next few years of this, Dio would pass away, and placed into a tomb. The followers would have what he knew, recorded, Nill, felt....Conflicted.
This jedi had made her question her own idea, of how the force was. It was not a tool, but.....something else. This jedi, had affected her somehow. He also spoke....of how those who die, are reborn.
"I wonder Dio. Will we meet again?" She asked herself. She spent enough time away, her daughter has had the throne for some time, but she would return and take it back. However, a statement the Enlightened Jedi said would live in her mind.
"Can a friendship transcend lifetimes?"
