"you talk too much, has anyone ever said that to you?"

Kim Chae-Yeong was disturbed from the files she was revising in her office by the call from Director asking her to come to her office. Since Chae-Yeong's office was next to the Director's, she took her time and chose against using teleportation.

Upon entering the room, the first that caught Chae-Yeong's eyes was a man who was standing in the middle of the room facing Director's desk. The woman moved to stand next to him and faced the Director while ignoring the man whose eyes didn't left her figure since she first entered.

"You called, Ma'am?"

Even though Chae-Yeong didn't make a move to acknowledge the man, she could feel his searing gaze on the side of her face. Despite that, her entire focus was on the older woman sitting behind the desk.

"Yes, Ms. Kim, I do believe you recall the terrible incident, involving a man who fell into a coma while attempting to save a soul?

Chae-Yeong wordlessly nodded her head. The Director went on, this time pointing to the man standing next to Chae-Yeong.

"Well, this is the unfortunate soul that has found its way on Jumadeong's doorstep. Choi Jun-Woong. "

For the first time since Chae-Yeong entered the room, she turned her head to acknowledge the man.

Naturally, Chae-Yeong was made aware of this occurrence. After all, this situation was the reason for the intense meeting they had few hours ago.

Kim Chae-Yeong actually felt conflicted about his predicament. On the one hand, his actions might be praised; after all, not anyone would try to get involved in another person's problems, much less when the issue is suicide. However, Chae-Yeong couldn't help but reflect on how foolish Choi Jun-Woong was to put his life in danger for someone who he didn't even know.

And after all, they had Risk Management team for this. Though, lately they've been causing more problems than saving people. Despite her desire not to, Kim Chae-Yeong had to acknowledge that fact.

Choi Jun-Woong's eyes were fixed on the woman next to him the entire time the two women were conversing. The dark-haired woman radiated a sense of tranquility that was also a little bit threatening. Jun-Woong was confused. Though he had to admit, there was something so strikingly gorgeous about the woman.

Though, the moment Chae-Yeong turned to face Jun-Woong it felt like his heart dropped to his heels. The man had the impression that he was being closely surveyed and that any action he took would be fatal. Jun-Woong has never before seen a face so impassive, so void of any kind of emotions. It terrified him.

He watched how the woman's eyes inspected him from the top to bottom then back till they stopped at his face.

She briefly met his eyes, and Choi Jun-Woong, the fool that he is, summoned all of his courage and returned the stare. However, he didn't even last ten seconds before having to turn his gaze elsewhere.
