𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐍:
"I will save him"
After leaving Joong-Gil in the Sales Team's office, Kim Chae-Yeong didn't have anything better to do than to return to her office. Truth be told, she had a lot of thigs to do, after all she was still the Director's assistant and as far as she knew, no one had released her from her duties.
But right now, fulfilling her duties was the last thing on Kim Chae-Yeong's mind. Forgive me, Director.
She was emptying yet another glass of liquor. When her hand reached for the bottle to refill the glass one more time, the woman was left disappointed. Without realizing, Chae-Yeong had emptied the whole bottle. With a sigh she put down the glass and leaned back in her chair. Now what?
The woman spared a glance towards the clock a sudden frown appearing on her features. It's been few hours already since she and Park Joong-Gil parted ways. Shouldn't he be back already?
Suddenly a strange feeling appeared in the pit of her stomach. What if something went wrong? What if the memories Joong-Gil saw had much stronger impact on him? Chae-Yeong recalled the promise Joong-Gil gave her before they parted. That no matter what he'll see, it won't change anything between them.
But what if it will?
He had no idea what he's promising. He probably had no clue what he'll see in his memories and yet he still gave such promise to her. What if he now regrets it?
What was that thing Chae-Yeong said to herself? She'll just have to learn to live with it, no matter how much pain it will cause her. Kim Chae-Yeong had no idea that it could even become a possibility.
Now she truly regretted not staying there and waiting for the man to be done. She really wanted to know what is happening.

Not being able to withstand the pressure, Kim Chae-Yeong decided to look for Park Joong-Gil to find out what had happened. But she was left disappointed when she arrived at his office and found it empty. When she visited the Escort Team's office, she was even more confused when none of the reapers there knew where their boss is.
Chae-Yeong was wandering around hallways, deep in thought. A permanent frown had settled on her face ever since she found out that Park Joong-Gil is nowhere to be found. She didn't miss the glances other reapers sent her way. She probably looked miserable, something that no one in Jumadeong had been able to witness.
The brunette was about to turn a corner when hushed voices reached her ears and forced her to stop and listen in.
"Wait, wait, wait, really?!" The first voice. Soon after followed the second voice.
