"...promise me that whatever happens, nothing between us will change..."

Kim Chae-Yeong appeared in the Risk Management team's office. She took a glance around the empty room until her eyes stopped at Choi Jun-Woong who was sitting at the table by himself. Her sudden teleportation in the office didn't startle the man sitting there, which was a sign alone that something's wrong.

The man briefly glanced over his shoulder at the woman before turning back to stare at the table, only to swiftly turn his head back to stare at the woman with wide eyes.

"Now that's the reaction I was waiting for." Chae-Yeong then sighed walking forward. "Though a little bit too slow for my liking."

She stood right beside the table, looking down at Jun-Woong. "What's the matter?"

Jun-Woong furrowed his eyebrows, glancing up at the woman.

"You don't know?"

Chae-Yeong closed her eyes and sighed. No, she didn't which caused the woman to grow cautious. "You know, Mr. Choi, lately I've been left out of the loop of the information traveling through Jumadeong." She opened her eyes and stared down at the man. "Somehow this fact doesn't surprise me anymore."

Choi Jun-Woong was about to say something when Chae-Yeong continued.

"And yes, it bothers me, though there's nothing I can do about it." She shrugged. "I guess I just need to trust the process. Now spill. What's been happening?"

Chae-Yeong took a seat at the table while Jun-Woong told her about how he has been assigned to now work with the Editing Team while Ryung-Gu was assigned to the Sales Team.

"And what about Ryeon?"

Jun-Woong hesitated before speaking. "She is to be taken to Hell for her crimes."

The man didn't miss the slight hitch in Chae-Yeong's breath when he mentioned Hell, immediately remembering the story The Director told him.

The woman dropped her haze to the table. "So that's why Ha Dae-Su was here."

She saw Jun-Woong's questioning gaze but swayed her head indicating that he doesn't need to know. The brunette decided that it would be better for him to know what kind of man Ha Dae-Su is.

"Please Ms. Kim, tell me that there is something you can do about the situation."

The woman looked up at the man and winced at the hopeful look he was giving her.

"I'm deeply sorry, Mr. Choi but there is nothing I can do."

"What?"

"What do you mean 'what?', I'm just an assistant who doesn't have much say in Director's decisions. I do what she tells me to do. No questions asked."
