"she's so scary, why is she like that?"

"Jumadeong Company Code Rule 11 Article 3." Chae-Yeong was standing beside the Director who sat in her chair. Papers in hand, she was reading aloud the rules that the reaper standing before them broke. "No reaper may use their abilities in front of humans."

The brunette wasn't at all surprised when the Director called her and announced that Koo Ryeon has broken the rules. The only thing she was surprised of was that the pink-haired woman had done it only now.

"Company Code Rule 13 Article 1." Chae-Yeong continued. "No reaper may intervene in human affairs."

When she was done, the Director took the papers from Chae-Yeong.

"Do you admit you broke the rules?"

"Yes."

Chae-Yeong didn't know why but for some reason she was expecting Koo Ryeon to deny it, or maybe try and defend herself. But when the reaper admitted that she has indeed broken the rules, the assistant could help but feel a little bit disappointed.

She's no fun.

It was decided then that Koo Ryeon will be given an appropriate disciplinary measure.

Chae-Yeong walked down the steps towards the pink-haired woman. The reaper already knew what is to be expected from her and gave the assistant her right hand. Chae-Yeong took her palm in one hand and with the other put a ring on Koo Ryeon's finger that won't allow the reaper to use her abilities.

When Koo Ryeon exited the office, Chae-Yeong was dismissed. She left the office right after the pink-haired reaper and managed to overhear Lim Ryung-Gu and Choi Jun-Woong's conversation.

"What's the ring for?"

"She can's properly use her abilities now. That ring can't be removed."

There was a pause before Jun-Woong continued.

"But she can still use them, right?"

It was then that Chae-Yeong decided to make her presence know, she, after all, was headed in the same direction.

"It causes a strong resistance." Her presence, once again, startled Jun-Woong and he sharply spun around to see the Director's assistant walking towards them. "There was even a reaper who turned to ashes."

Jun-Woong widened his eyes before exclaiming.

"Who even created such a horrible thing, this is horrendous."

Chae-Yeong stopped in her tracks and turned to Jun-Woong, not a single emotion on her face.

"I did."

If that was possible, Jun-Woong's eyes widened even more. He took a step back, creating a distance from the reaper. His back hitting the wall behind him.
