The young people had certain plans in connection with the direction they were going. They hadn't given much thought to where they were going to stay permanently, but they didn't care now. Adventure mattered.

In the evening, they reached another city, where they decided to stay for the night. They checked into the hotel and made it to their room.

"Tomorrow at seven o'clock we have a bus. " Jikyo said, glancing at Liliana, who approached him. She was wearing a loose gray t-shirt and dark jeans. "And then we'll see what's next."

"Mm..." She nodded thoughtfully.

"Are you okay? " Parker got to his feet and faced her. "Lily? " He touched her waist lightly, causing her to flinch slightly. "I'm sorry. " He said right away.

"N-no, it's okay. " Redhead interjected. "Don't apologize, Jikyo. " She added right away. "I just..." She sighed and ran her hand through her hair.

"It's okay, nae salang. " Park said and sat back down on his bed.

There were two separate places to sleep in their room. Jikyo wanted to make Liliana comfortable. He didn't want to push anything or rush anything. He knew it was still a difficult topic for her.

"Thanks to you, I feel much better. " Redhead said and looked at their joined hands. "If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have gotten this far." She looked into his eyes again, then moved closer to her beloved and stroked his cheek with her hand. "I love you, Jikyo."

Park smiled at her words. He placed his hand on Liliana's.

"I trust you and I know I'm safe with you." She continued. "I need you to help me with one more thing... "

"What is it, nae salang? " He asked gently.

"Help me..." She whispered, moving closer to him and looking into his eyes. "Help me forget." She looked at his lips, then back at his eyes. "Help me forget." She repeated.

Jikyo looked into her beautiful, green eyes for a brief moment. Soon after, Liliana approached him and gently kissed him on the lips, which he reciprocated. After a moment their eyes met again.

"Are you sure? " He asked in a warm voice.

"Yes. " She replied stroking his cheek. "Please... Help me forget." She whispered.

Man approached her and kissed her beloved, who returned the gesture and entwined her hands in his hair, at the moment when he gently wrapped her around the waist. Jikyo pulled her even closer without breaking the kiss, which the couple began to deepen. A moment later, he gently laid Lily on her back, on the bed, and he leaned over her and joined their lips again. Redhead rested one hand on his torso and the other on his cheek as Jikyo gently slid his hand down to her belly and slid his hand under her shirt. Feeling his warmth, Liliana shivered slightly, but not from fear. She knew it was Jikyo, and he would never hurt her or do anything she didn't want.

A moment later, man stopped the gesture for a moment and looked into her eyes.

"You know we don't have to. " He said to be sure. "If only..."

"I know. " She stroked his cheek and smiled slightly. "But I want it. Really. " She assured him. "And you...?"

"I do but... If you feel uncomfortable with this... "

Lily smiled at him again.

"My lovely Jikyo..." She stroked his cheeks. "You are my safe place." She said. "You are my home... Aren't you?"

Park smiled at her words and kissed her nose.

"Yes, nae salang. " He nodded. "And you are my whole world I can't live without. " He kissed her on the lips.

"See? " She asked, somewhat amused. "We can't live without each other. "

"We can not. " He smiled back at her and joined their lips again in a warm, passionate kiss.

In the morning, Liliana woke up first. She smiled involuntarily at the sight of Jikyo sleeping peacefully next to her. Redhead turned a bit and looked at her beloved for a moment. A moment later, she gently brushed a strand of hair from man's forehead.

"My Sunshine. " She chuckled softly, then moved closer and snuggled into her boyfriend's naked torso.

Park muttered something unintelligible but immediately wrapped his arms around Liliana and rested his chin on her head. Meanwhile, Lily closed her eyes again, feeling the warmth of Jikyo's body and listening to his heartbeat.

His scent, his presence, the quiet beating of his heart. So little, and for her, it was all she needed. She loved him so much that the thought of parting broke her heart. She didn't want anyone or anything to separate her from her beloved Jikyo.

After a long time Liliana decided to get up. Woman changed her clothes and went to the bathroom.

When she returned, she smiled at the sleeping man. Wilkinson looked out the window, then began combing her hair. Immediately after that, she heard a quiet voice, and when she turned around, she saw that Jikyo must've been dreaming something, because he was saying something incomprehensible in his sleep. The sight, however, worried Liliana, for it seemed that he was having a nightmare. So she decided to wake him up.

"Jikyo? " She whispered placing her hand on his shoulder. "Jikyo? " She repeated a little louder.

Man woke up after a while and instinctively grabbed Wilkinson's hand. Park was still a bit disoriented, and the image of Liliana standing before him was only now beginning to come into focus.

"Jikyo? " She said worriedly. "Nae salang. " She said, which immediately caught his attention. "Hey, it's okay. " She sat down next to him. "It's just a dream. " She stroked his shoulder.

"Lily...? " He asked in disbelief, still having a terrible nightmare before his eyes.

"Mm. " She nodded and smiled kindly at him.

"Thank goodness... " He breathed a sigh of relief, then pulled the red-haired girl to him and hugged her tightly, which surprised Wilkinson a bit, but woman returned the gesture. "You're here. "

"I'm here. " She assured him and rubbed his back soothingly. "It's okay, Jikyo." She said gently. "It was only a dream, nae salang. "

Park nodded, but for a long time he didn't let Liliana out of his embrace. He wanted to make sure this was real and that his nightmare wasn't real.

"What did you dream of? " She asked as Jikyo still held her in his arms.

"That I lost you... " He replied in a broken voice. "You died and I couldn't save you."

Lily pulled away from him just enough to look him in the eye.

"I'm here. " She smiled at him and took the man's face in her hands. "I'm here, my Park Jikyo. "

Man exhaled slowly and nodded, then took her hands in his and gently kissed the inside of her hand.

"Nae salang? " He looked at her, remembering what Liliana had called him a moment ago.

Redhead smiled warmly.

"Mm. " She nodded. "Nae salang. " She kissed him.
