[3rd Person POV]

"Shimizu-senpai?!" (Y/N) is surprised.

He didn't expect Kiyoko would be looking for him on the first day of school.

He remembered he would always come to Karasuno before junior high graduation to hang out with Kiyoko. He also became friends with Daichi, Sugawara, and Asahi.

Now, the tables have turned. Kiyoko has now come to his classroom to speak with him.

(Y/N) has redness on his cheeks a bit because this is the first time that has happened ever since he met Kiyoko. He stood up and quickly went to her.

"Shi-Shimizu-senpai, is there something I can help you with?" (Y/N) stuttered because this is a big deal for him.

"Hanazawa-kun, I came here to give this to you." Kiyoko gives him a paper.

When (Y/N) receives the paper from Kiyoko, he sees it's an application letter to join Karasuno's boys' volleyball team.

(Y/N) looks at the application letter for a brief moment, he returns his attention to Kiyoko and said. "Thanks."

"I'll see you later at the court." Kiyoko said with a little smile.

"Hey, Shimizu-san, if you're not busy later. Do you wanna hang out after school?" (Y/N) asks her.

Kiyoko quickly responded. "I don't think we have time for that because there's volleyball practice after school."

"Ah." (Y/N) became a sad bit. "Oh, yeah, I forgot." He then chuckles.

The presence of Kiyoko has made (Y/N) forgot he is a volleyball player for Karasuno. He was asking her on a date.

"But..." Kiyoko suddenly blushed a little. "I'll check my schedule if I'm free this weekend."

(Y/N) was surprised. "S-Sure, I can wait."

Two of them were silent in an awkward atmosphere surrounding the two high school students. The silence was then broken by one of them.

"Bye." Kiyoko turns around and walks away quickly.

Just when she is now far away from (Y/N)'s classroom, she then thought to herself.

"Did he just ask me out on a date on the first day of school..." She blushes at that thought. It's a good thing every student near her is busy minding their business, she really doesn't want them to see her face right now.

As she is walking and going to her class, there is something on her mind.

"His confidence can be a bit too much..."

Meanwhile, (Y/N) is still standing there in silence. It seems he still hasn't moved after Kiyoko left.

Many of his new classmates are looking at him weird, they are also wondering if he's okay.

(Y/N) suddenly got his hands in the air and yelled.

"LETS GOOOOO!" (Y/N) got hyped like he just won a million dollars.

All of his classmates turned their attention to him. There is this one classmate of his who got pissed.

"That's it!" That student bangs his fast on his desk and immediately stood up.

That student went to (Y/N) and yelled.

"Hey, you!"

(Y/N) turns around and sees his male classmate who has short fuzzy hair dyed blonde.

"Who are you?" (Y/N) asks him.

"Ryunosuke Tanaka, what about yours?" Tanaka asks him.

"(Y/N) Hanazawa..." (Y/N) is surprised he got suddenly approached by him.
