[3rd Person POV]

(Y/N) receives the ball, the ball went to the setter.

"Hinata!" Kageyama tosses the ball to him.

Hinata runs towards the net. "He's gonna set for me too! And I'm gonna kick off my first match in high school with a bang!"

Hinata jumps really high which surprised Kiyoko, who is the referee for this match, and the other players too as they are amazed.

"With my first spike!" Hinata spikes the ball.

Unfortunately for him, he got blocked by Tsukkishima.

Hinata was surprised he got blocked, Tsukishima then said to him:

"It really surprised me the other night as well, but boy, you sure can fly. Now if only you were just thirty centimeters taller, you could've been a superstar." Tsukishima plays mind games with Hinata.

Hinata gets irritated and said with determination. "O-One more!"

Later, Hinata gets blocked by Tsukishima once again.

"Damn it!" Hinata exclaimed.

"He's better than I expected." Kageyama thought to himself as he is talking about Tsukishima.

"Look at you. Your team keeps getting blocked. What happened to the King's sets?" Tsukishima is picking on Kageyama again. "You know, the one's opponents can't keep up with. And the ones teammates can't keep up with, either!"

"Shut up..." Kageyama walks to his position.

Later, it's Yamaguchi's turn to serve.

"Give us a good serve, Yamaguchi!" Daichi exclaimed.

After Yamaguchi's serve, the ball hits the net and it landed on their side, earning a point for (Y/N)'s team.

It's Kageyama's turn to serve, he thought he could score a lot with his serves but he was surprised when Daichi is good at receiving. Tanaka said that he's an incredible defender.

A point has been earned for Tsukishima's team after he tosses the ball to Yamaguchi to spike.

Tsukishima then tries to attack Kageyama's mental game. "Come on, King. Don't you think it's about time you pulled out all the stops?"

Hinata then said to the tallest player of Karasuno. "What's your problem, man? You keep trying to pick a fight with him! What the hell is the 'King's set.'"

"Don't you know why he's called the King?" Tsukishima asked.

"Well, for some reason, he's really good. The other schools must've gotten scared of his skills and named him that, no?" Hinata guessed.

Tsukishima laughs at his answer. "I'm sure there are a lot of people who think that way, but rumor has it that he was given the nickname "King of the Court" by the guys from Kitagawa Daiichi, the King's teammates."

Tsukishima then looks at Kageyama.

"It means..."Egocentric King". "Oppressive Despot". I'd only heard rumors about it at first, but I was convinced after watching that match. He got so oppressive that they had to sub him out of the final." Tsukishima revealed.

Everyone in the gymnasium was surprised to hear that.

"That's why you've stopped making quick sets? Are you chickening out due to what happened in that final?"

Tsukishima wants to get on Kageyama's nerves.

"If you make sets, but nobody jumps to hit them-

Kageyama interrupts Tsukishima. "That's right. The idea of making a set only to find that there's nobody there...terrifies me."
