[3rd Person POV]
Sugawara now replaces Kageyama as the setter on the court. The Karasuno players' morale was raised due to his presence.
"Daichi, you didn't yell as much as usual! The captain has to keep it together!" Sugawara scolds the captain.
"Yeah, sorry." Daichi accepts Sugawara's scolding.
"Tsukishima." Sugawara then turns his attention to Karasuno's starting middle blocker and calls him to come to him.
Tsukishima went to him as he listens to Sugawara's whispers. Oikawa is watching seriously.
"It's hard for me to tell where Mr. Pleasant's talent lies, but from what I saw of his warmup, I gather that he's serious and meticulous." Oikawa thought to himself.
Oikawa is now beside Iwaizumi and told him:
"Iwa-chan, try to hit one straight down at number two's position since he has a low block." Oikawa is talking about Sugawara.
Later, after a serve from Aoba Johsai, Daichi receives the ball as he then passes it to Sugawara.
"Nice receive!" Sugawara exclaimed as he is in position. He then tosses the ball to the bald spiker. "Tanaka!"
"Come on in!" Tanaka yelled as he spikes the ball but it was saved by Aoba Johsai's libero.
Oikawa sees the ball is coming to him and he then tosses the ball to Aoba Johsai's ace. "Iwa-chan!"
"Hit it...straight down at the low blocker!" Iwaizumi thought to himself as he jumped.
Just when Iwaizumi is about to spike the ball, Sugawara and Tsukishima switched blocker positions.
Iwaizumi spikes it but he sees Tsukishima is right in front of him. Unfortunately, he got blocked by Karasuno's middle blocker.
The ball went to the floor as it then scored a point for Karasuno.
Sugawara smiles as he pats a lot of times at Tsukishima's shoulder. "Nice block, Tsukishima. Nice going!"
"I can't take the credit." Tsukishima stated.
"When we play against a tough team, they almost always target me because I'm a low blocker. I was pretty sure this match would be no exception. It's reassuring having someone tall beside me!" Sugawara exclaimed.
"No, I mean...Yes, sir." Tsukishima said it awkwardly as he don't know what to say to Sugawara.
After Karasuno won the rally, Hinata is back in the game. "Boo-yah!"
As Sugawara sees Hinata is running towards the court. He then calls the two spikers. "Hinata, (Y/N), come here."
It seems Sugawara has a plan. (Y/N) and Hinata immediately went to him.
Later, it's Tsukishima's turn to serve.
"Tsukishima, give us a good serve!" Daichi exclaimed.
Tsukishima serves the ball, it was then received. Oikawa gets the ball and tosses it to Matsukawa.
Oikawa and Matsukawa attempts to do a quick attack but Hinata blocked it because Sugawara told him to delay his jump slightly.
As the ball went to the floor, Karasuno got hyped as they scored another point.
"RIGHT ON!" Karasuno players exclaimed in unison.
Sugawara compliments Hinata as he gives him headpats. "Hinata, that was great!"
"It was just like you said, Sugawara-san!" Hinata replied with a joyful expression.
Later, Iwaizumi spikes the ball from Oikawa's toss. It was then received easily by Nishinoya.
