Many years ago
sat upon the rising glowing moon of earth, the Japanese god of the stated object sat with beauty and grace
carving a shape with his own delicate yet sharp hands, smiling in bliss and tranquillity as he finished his work
a small glistening moon rock in the shape of an egg
"I bless thee with my gift and powers, to uphold, peace, purity and serenity" Tsukuyomi stated as he placed his palm against the smooth surface
Tsukuyomi gracefully stood to release the little miracle into the universe
after the action of killing the goddess, Ukemochi greatly displeased his older sister Amaterasu
he wished to make amends through a being of innocence to bless the earth
Tsykoyami will remain upon the moon as his descendant shall reign within the darkness that came forth with, for areas that the great god could not see, this new being shall
the egg was let go from the palms of his creator and would land wherever fate decided best
Tsukuyomi had no say in what shape this being would take
whatever the world needed it to be
it shall be
the egg flowed down the stars in a way similar to a waterfall
but as the egg got closer to the world, the more the stars began to drift
gravity causing the shining stone to descend faster
if not for a murder of ravens to catch the egg it would have surely broke, moon god egg or not
the ravens gathered and lightly pecked at the peculiar foundation of the rock
warming it with their gathered heat and feathers before a crack could be heard
the egg had begun to hatch, leading to many of the ravens flying off in alarm, the braver merely watching with beady red eyes
what was to be revealed from the stone was the head of a raven itself
but continuing to wriggle, the body of a human boy followed
confusing the ravens they stood to watch the hatchling
only for the young to emit a loud wailing, a mix of a baby human and birds distress
the noise is enough to spook the birds
but to bring forth the attention of a more competent being
a young man with red wings and a descendant of the Ebisu clan that had recently been destroyed had been walking this path
halting in place as the noise him to investigate
there he was met with the being and the eggshell
the red-winged boy rushed to the child's aid, using said wings to scoop and protect the young as he was bundled into his arms
"shh, shh, it's ok, I've got you" the red-winged guardian soothed as he used the remaining wings to search for the ones that could have left him in the grasslands alone, naked and crying
unfortunately, the red-winged mortal was not aware of the fate of the little hybrid and could not find any trace of what had led the child to land
With a sigh, the red-winged hero looked at the child whose crying slowly began to cease
