Halloween was once more approaching

the talks of decorations and costumes was one topic which was most talked about

but one student had yet to voice their thoughts

and usually, it wouldn't have been too noticeable

but whose voice and character it belonged to, it was much too suspicious not to notice

"do you have any ideas of what you want to do Tokobro?" Kirishima asked

all heads turned as it was clear they too were very curious

it was no secret that their resident prince of darkness was also the king of Halloween

always outshining all in the dark beauty and terror

but the raven simply hummed

"I have yet to accumulate an idea" Tokoyami admitted with a shrug

a moment of silence filled the room before being interrupted by a loud collective "What?!" by the whole class

"Seriously?" Kaminari asked with added enthusiasm to the disbelief

"yes, if had I would have said so," The raven said with a nonchalant tone

"All right, smart guy" the electric boy huffed, but knew tokoyami didn't mean anything by it

"Still, the guy who is Halloween incarnate not having a costume sounds illegal," Sato said out loud

"you feeling sick or something? too much partying last night?"Jiro asked with a wink, knowing that it was his birthday yesterday and while everyone gave his gifts, he and his family had been the ones to take him out for a nice tea, the students hoped to spend the weekend with him properly

"it was but a nice evening with my family, nothing that could alter one's mind into the next morning" Tokoyami sighed as he shook his head

"hey, back on the subject, we can help with finding you a costume for tonight" Ashido stated as she slammed her hands on the desk

"you don't have to" Tokoyami tried but the pink girl was already up on her feed

"too late, now come on" Ashido declared as she grabbed the raven's wrists, bringing him to his feet

and without a second hesitation, tokoyami was rushed to the closest costume shop, the other students close on their lead

thank god the class had finished, although with Aizawa sleeping, perhaps it wouldn't have mattered

"what about death?" Kaminari suggested as he grabbed a black cloak,

"I have done the being so many times in the past, I am trying to do something different" Tokoyami sighed as he looked at the costumes with zero inspiration

"yeah, your hero costumes are so similar, it'd be like wearing your work uniform as a costume" Sero laughed

"Perhaps so" Tokoyami contemplated, not seeing the comparison as a bad thing

"how about a vampire?" Minetta asked but was kicked in the face by a disgusted French boy

"booo no, that's boring and so unoriginal" ayoyoma sighed disappointedly

"All alright, you try" Minetta grumbled before getting another boot to the face to shut him up

Ayoyoma grabbed swirling tokoyami's head side to side as he inspected it with precision
