the rising and falling of his chest had fallen into a sort of rhythm once he had finally regained the ability to breathe through his nose

he truly thought it had been a single day of constant headache

but it only progressed in a blocked nose, coughing, shivering and incredibly sore throat

each time he tried to stand he only got cloudy and dizzy turns and just wanted to sleep

and it seemed he wasn't the only one as when his girlfriend took one look at his even paler skin she literally dragged him back to his room and threw him into bed

Tsuyu must have told the others because he received nothing but peace for the first time in his life

seemed darkshadow had been affected as the only thing he could hear from them was light muttering of weakness

perhaps he pushed himself too far...it was the only reason why both would ever feel so ill

his thoughts were quickly interrupted as he heard someone enter his room

"ribbit, tokoyami? Are you awake?" his girlfriend whispered

"yes" Tokoyami sighed with heavy breaths

to this, he heard the frog hero come closer

and feel something so relaxingly cold against his head, he couldn't help but sigh in relief

"I told Aizawa you were sick and he told me to tell you to take it easy"Tsuyu informed

"I appreciate that" Tokoyami croaked as he licked his lips, in the same way, a person would when experiencing a cold

"Now sit up, I got you some food, water and throat sweets and medicine, so you need to get this all down you ribbit" Tsuyu ordered as she ruffled through the white bag

"Thank you Tsuy, I am truly so grateful for your help (cough cough) you shouldn't get too close, you could gain this ailment" Tokoyami tried to urge before falling into coughing into his elbow

"save your words and let me take care of you" Tsu calmed as she replaced the now warm cloth with the back of her hand

he knew he was checking his temperature, but she didn't know how that single action made him melt with affection

if she knew the effect she had on him, she would be a very dangerous force to deal with

but for now, he simply did as she wished

he struggled but got at least a bit of toast and plenty of water in him, ensuring to had his medicine

luckily he didn't have that situation where his girlfriend would have to spoon-feed him, the mere thought caused his feathers to floor in a fluster

"ribbit?" Tsu questioned in surprise, the raven doing his best to ease her worries

he sucked on the throat soother and only when he finished did the frog allow him to lay back down to rest

"thank you Tsu" Tokoyami once more said with a deep tiredness

"Don't worry about it fumi, I know you would do the same for me" Tsu smiled as she truly believed that statement

"undoubtedly" the raven head sighed as he allowed his head to truly rest on the pillows

hands once more making their way through his feathers, smoothing them in such a relaxing matter it was no surprise he fell asleep

leaving the amphibian hero to laugh in adoration

she may or may not get sick with how close she was

but the sight that befell her, she was ready to take that risk
