——————————🕷️——————————Wednesday stood in his dorm with almost all of his belongings packed up. Enid and (Y/n) were in there with him, helping him load his stuff into his trunks.
Wednesday picked up his typewriter from his desk, and put it in its container, and closed it. Enid picked up one of the squirrels he had stuffed from his taxidermy kit.
"I can't believe I'm going to miss your creepy eyes looking at me every time I come in here. It won't be the same without you."
"So, I assume you two will continue living your lives here, leaving me in the past." Wednesday commented as he packed up his books.
"Never." Enid promised. "What about you? Will you forget about me?"
"Enid...the mark you have left on me is indelible. Anytime I grow nauseous at the sight of a rainbow or hear a pop song that makes my ears bleed, I'll think of you." Wednesday told her.
Enid teared up a little. "Thanks."
(Y/n) stepped closer to Wednesday and handed him a piece of paper. "I wrote out my number and the address of the school again. So if you wanted to call or write..."
"No need. I still have the original one you gave me from the Festival." Wednesday admitted.
She looked surprised. "Really?"
He nodded. "You've had an imprint on me ever since I saw you walk into your dorm when I first came here."
(Y/n) smiled and pulled him into a kiss. He eagerly kissed her back. When they pulled away, Wednesday continued to pack up his books.
"By the way, before I leave I plan to make it known to everyone that just because I'm expelled, doesn't mean that other men can start thinking they have a shot with you. If they do, tell me and I'll send Thing to deal with them."
(Y/n) laughed at that. "Okay. Just as long as you promise some other girl won't catch your eye, and you leave me." She half-joked.
Wednesday pulled her into him by her wrist and lifted her chin to look at him.
"Never. You're the only one for me." He said firmly, and pulled her into a deep kiss.
When they pulled away, Wednesday continued packing. "I always believed relying on other people was a sign of weakness. That inevitably they would lead me to disappointment. Turns out I've been the disappointment."
"Are you kidding me?" Enid exclaimed. "I've learned so much from you. Part of it is admittedly, criminal behavior, but...most people spend their entire lives pretending to give zero effs, and you literally never have an eff to give."
"Not to mention that you are the best boyfriend I've ever had. And the only boyfriend I've ever had, but still. You've treated me like a Queen ever since we met. Minus all the times you nearly got me killed." (Y/n) said.
"Any chance you've got some sneaky plan to elude Weems?" Enid asked hopefully.
Wednesday shook his head. "Xavier's right." He showed Enid the drawing Rowan gave him. "This prophecy cannot come true if I'm not here. But it kills me to leave when Tyler is still walking around free." He admitted.
