Note: I need to give a solid timeline of events. It has been 97 days since the Pooges returned from the Island they went missing on May 5th, 2020 - August 10th, 2020.
It's been three months since Sarah has been home after her kidnapping and ransom hold orchestrated by her father. John B and Sarah are more in love now than ever before; today is also the start of Ward and Rafe's criminal trials for 2nd-degree murder and kidnapping.
Both Sarah and John b were on edge, but thanks to the support of their lawyer and friends, they knew everything would be just fine.
Once everyone had taken their seats in the courtroom, the 2nd Degree murder trial for the murder of Isabella Peterkin began.
All rise for the honorable judge Clare presiding
Judge Clare' you may all be seated today; we are here in the case of Rafe Cameron, charged in the shooting death of Isabella Peterkin; how does the defendant plead?
Rafe Cameron " not guilty, your honor.
Judge Clare, " the prosecutor may call its first witness.
The Prosecution calls John Booker Routledge to the stand.
Mr. Routledge to you swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth so helps you God.
John b "I do
You may be seated.
Mr. Routledge, can you please recount to the jury the events that led up to you witnessing officer Peterkin's death.
John b" yes, sir, my friends and I were behind a wire fence watching as Ward Camron was getting ready to take off with the 400 million in gold me and my friends and found in the old crane house.
And then what happened.
John B" We saw that Ward was trying to force his daughter Sarah who is now my wife, Sarah Routledge, onto the plane against her will, so I got into my van and rammed through the fence to help her. Once I got to the runway, I tried to park the van so I could stop the plane from taking off; once Sarah was off the plane, Ward was still trying to manhandle her when officer Peterkin showed up to place Ward under arrest for the disappearance and death of my father, Big John, right when she was about to cuff him that when Rafe shot her.

The prosecutor," Mr. Cameron, can you tell the court why you shoot officer Peterkin in cold blood?
Rafe" but I did not shoot officer Peterkin John b, did sir.
Since reopening this case, we have had the gun used in officer Peterkin's murder retested for fingerprints in our forensics lab and do you know whose fingerprints we recovered?
Rafe (swallows nervously) no sir, whose?
Yours of course, can you explain that?
Rafe(screams) alright, I did it ok I had no choice; she was going to arrest my father over the disappearance of a deadbeat Pogue. I could not let that happen, so yes, I shot her.
Judge Clare" Rafe Camron, I find you guilty of murder in the second degree and sentence you to 10 years in federal prison without parole.
