Sophia

I can’t believe I actually wished I went with Helena and Ryan to his mean grandma’s house. Seriously. What is up with that woman! So I’m just moping around the house, there’s nothing good on cable. Nothing to eat. Food food food food food food food food food food. I need some food. Let’s see, I finished all the chips - barbeque and original - I ate the leftover pasta, aaaaaaaaaaaand I had some ice cream. So why am I still hungry?!?! While I was watching Adventure Time, there was a commercial for Taco Bell. Mmmmmm, I would kill for some Taco Bell at this very moment.

I went up to my room and turned on my MacBook Air. I browsed Facebook [1 notification - a game request] and made a video of me saying the alphabet backwards. Yes, I’m just that bored.

--

“WE’RE HOME!!!” Helena yelled as she walked in. I was lying on my bed and too lazy to move. She must’ve figured out that I wouldn’t get up so she yelled “WE HAVE FOOD!” which sent me running down the stairs. They held McDonalds.

“YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!” I clapped and reached for the bags. I took out a Big Mac and munched on it as I dipped Chicken Nuggets into Barbeque sauce and fries into ketchup.

“Hey Soph - where are the barbeque chips?” Ryan asked me.

“Oh I ate ‘em,” I said through a mouthful of Big Mac’s yummyness.

“Whabout the plain ones?”

“Oh I ate those too.”

“Sophia, where’s the leftover pasta?” Helena asked me.

“Uhhhhhh I ate those also.”

“And you’re still hungry! My, Sophie! You’re stomach is a bottomless pit!” Helena threw her hands in the air.

“Sorry!” I said, munching on a fry.

I reached for a second Big Mac as I was done with the first and to my surprise - and Helena and Ryan’s - I let out a big burp.

Like, “BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!” Helena stared at me for a while before she muttered “Oh Sophia…” and Ryan started laughing so hard.

“Shut up!” I blushed.

“Oh Sophia! Do you know how loud that was?!?!?!” Ryan laughed.

“I said, shut up!” My face felt super warm, and I bet all my money in my savings account that it was as red as a tomato.

“Aw it’s ok Sophia-Pia. I bet ya can’t beat this!” Ryan smiled, then burped, louder than me. 10 times louder than me.

“BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRP”

“Oh my gosh!” I laughed.

“Quit it!” Helena said.

“Sorry,” Ryan and I said.

“So Ryan, and Sophia,” Helena said pleasantly, “I invited the Coleman’s over for dinner.”

“AW MOM!” Ryan groaned.

“What?!” Helena asked.

“The Coleman’s are weird, dude,” Ryan turned to me, “They have a ton of daughters. I’m talking SIX daughters. Their names are Prudence, Petunia, Mabel, Bertha, Patience, and Darla.”

“The names might be a little… old fashioned. But there’s nothing wrong with them!” Helena stepped in.

“To you maybe. Last time Prudence said I was beautiful for a boy and asked if I’d like to take a moonlit stroll with her. Whatever that’s supposed to mean.”

“A moonlit stroll? Sounds like a cheesy old fashioned movie where people wear frilly dresses and bonnets,” I smirked.

“Exactly!” Ryan smiled.

“Sophia! You haven’t even met the Coleman’s yet!” Helena cried.

“I know, I’m sorry,” I shook my head of all the bad thoughts. Let the night begin!

Author's Note: yay! I uploaded! Please comment and vote and fan and all that jazz! I've been pretty busy now with the World's Fair project and I actually wrote this a LOOOOOOOONG time ago and I'm just uploading now? Yeah, I'm an idiot. But it's ok cuz I'm working on My Chimerical Crush and it's gonna be uploaded by Friday! Yeah! I'm also working on a new story but it's [for now] personal because it's about this girl's [COMMENT "PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME" IF YOU SEE THIS] Hollywood life and I honestly know NADA about Hollywood life so yeah, it's just for fun but it's taking up a huge amount of time. Another thing that's taking a huge amount of time is my new bestie buddy Smurfy cuz we talk a lot and I can never finish my homework but it's ok. Choosing electives now for next year! I hope I can get into yearbook with my friend Veronica! :D

Also, thanks so much for reading all this, yeah it's a lot, so give yourselves a pat on the back.
