Here it is.... Ryan's POV of Ch15. I thought of doing this tomorrow since my eye was killing me but this is for all of you who have kept reading this story y'all deserve it! But I don't think this is TOO long anyway. And please vote & comment because I will not upload chapter 16 until I can get some votes&comments. (: Please&ThankYou.
Also Ryan curses a lot...
"Where's Sophia, Momma?" I ask, climbing down the stairs. I'm ready to forgive her and let her explain what happened with that dickhead.
"Didn't she tell you?" Mom frowns. Uh-oh.
"No....?" I say.
"She went to live with a woman named Cassandra Barry and her daughter Rebecca. It was in her parent's will. Surely she must've told you!"
"Well she didn't," I say through gritted teeth. Ugh! Why the hell did I even think of giving her a chance! I am so fucking mad at her right now! How could she not tell me?! I start running up the stairs.
"Ryan Edward Mason! Come back down here this instant!"
"What do you want?! To hell with Sophia. I don't care!" I screamed and ran to my room.
I sat on my bed and stared out the window. Suddenly, Kyle barged into my room screaming, "Ryan play Transformers with me!" Over and over again.
"No Kyle! Get the fuck out!" I scream.
"You... you... you swore at me! I'm gonna go tell Mommy!"
"To hell with Mommy!" I screamed, causing Kyle to start crying.
Now I did feel bad about saying that, but not at the moment. I was too upset with Sophia to think about anything other than jumping off a cliff. But she's Sophia. She left me once, she left me twice, I think I could deal with a third time.
Days passed, weeks passed, leaves changed. There was nothing I could do. She'd probably met a new boy already. All those days I spent pushing her away made me hate myself even more. I would only go out of room for dinner. I figured I could have some crackers stashed away for breakfast and lunch I didn't even care about. I was quiet all through dinner though, and when Mom first said she forgave me for saying what I did, I muttered a quiet 'thank you' and walked back to my room. The other time was spent staring out my window. There was nothing left to live for.
A few days passed, and I finally got the courage to take a peek inside Sophia's old room. It felt so cold and lonely, I had to get out of there immediately. Things went back to the way they were a few days ago - miserable for all of us. Thanks to me.
"Sure. I'll try anything," I hear my mom say outside my door. What the hell was she talking about?!
"Ryan! It's Sophie!" Mom yells. By that time I had enough. It was Sophia who caused all this to my family.
"Sophie?" I say, answering.
"Why did you make Kyle cry?!" She screams. Great. So this was what we were go to fucking talk about. This shit.
"WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING ME?!" I snap.
"...I... I'm sorry Ryan."
"Whatever. Goodbye Sophia. I hope I never see you again," I say sharply, and hang up. I bit my lip and started to cry...
No. This wasn't over for us. It can't be. I won't let it be.
