Chapter 15.1

Finally, right?!

"Sophia!" Cassandra smiles as she waves at from a balcony.

"Hey Cassandra!" I wave back. I take my luggage and start walking to the gate and Cassandra lets me in.

"I"m so glad you're here Sophie. Becca and I have your room all set up!"

"Oh, thanks."

"We got you a desktop, a laptop, a television, BOSE system... any other requests? I could go pick them up when I go to Target and Best Buy later. And I'll be taking you shopping in about a week. That okay?"

"Ohmygosh, Cassandra. You really didn't have to get me all these things!" I exclaim. How could she get me all these things?! How could she????????!!!!!!!

"Well Sophia, since you're living with me now, I'll be treating you as a daughter like Rebecca. That means you'll get the things that a daughter would get if I had one your age, but that would also mean curfews, and that I can't just let you go out all the time like a guest. Your curfew is 2 AM, by the way."

"2 AM?!"

"Yes! I have to go now, and I have to take Rebecca to the salon. She wants a mani/pedi. I can take you when we go shopping! We'll have a girls' night!"

"Oh, ok!"

"Your room is up the stairs, third door to the left."

I step inside and my phone starts to ring.

"Hullo?"

"Hi Sophie! Are you having fun at Cassandra's?" It was Helena.

"Yeeeaaaah.... so what does Ryan think of all this?"

"I don't know Soph. He never comes out of his room. Kyle went in once and he came out crying! He said Ryan was sitting in a chair staring out a window... he only comes down for dinner. I don't know what's wrong with him!"

"Oh my gosh. Do you want me to talk to him?"

"Sure. I'll try anything!" I hear her knock on Ryan's door and say 'Ryan! It's Sophie!' I hear the door open.

"Sophie?"

"Why did you make Kyle cry?!" I scream.

"WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING ME?!"

"... I... I'm sorry Ryan."

"Whatever. Goodbye Sophia. I hope I never see you again," He says sharply, causing me to jump.

"Wait! No, Ryan please!!" I say, but he has already hung up. I sigh and walk into the house to find my room.
