~*~ Your POV ~*~
Sitting on a log in front of the bonfire while everyone is dancing around, playing limbo again, talking, laughing or whatever you do when you're at parties or , somewhat, having fun... makes me feel out of place.
First of all, this is Jane's idea that we should always go here after diner and have fun. Well, the only people who's having fun is them. Still, you can't blame her for being such a party animal. I don't know but, when me and Greyson got in another argument, he's spending a lot of time with Jane now. I can already see them splashing water at each other from here.
I just sighed and rested my chin on my palm, still staring at the bonfire.
"Deep in thought again?" Gabe said from behind then sat beside me.
I gave him a weak smile and nodded.
He turned his gaze at Greyson And Jane, who's now just sitting on the sand and just looking at the sea. Gabe sighed and held my hand making me flinch a little.
"I always knew that feeling." He chuckled bitterly.
I rolled my eyes. "What feeling? The feeling of being out of place and bored?"
Now it's his turn to roll his eyes. "No. The feeling of being jealous."
"Me? Jealous?" I huffed. "Yeah, right. And why should I be jealous?"
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe looking at the person you like being in love with someone else makes you jealous?"
I was about to say something, then I realized, he's right. "Darn it, Gabe!" I pushed him off the log and he fell bottom first on the sand while I laugh hysterically.
He looked at me in disbelief. "No one ever pushes me off something."
"Uh-oh."
"Oh, you better start running, sweetheart." He cracked his knuckles.
I ran before he could even stood up, but because of his extremely long legs, he outran me and quickly wrapped his arms around my waist then spun me around.
I think he became light-headed after that cause he stumbled backwards with me and fell on his bottom again.
I panted. "That... was--"
"Fun?" He cut in.
"I was supposed to say exhausting... but that also." We both laughed. "I regret pushing you off the log."
He rolled his eyes. "You better be."
I rolled to his side, better than being on top off him, and leaned my head on his shoulder. I don't know, I just fell like it. I took a small glimpse at Greyson and caught him staring at us. When he saw me looking at him, he quickly looked away. Strange...
~*~Fast forward~*~
I woke up from a bad dream again. No, not about Yazmin but about Greyson. I don't know why I just got a dream about him, but I'm sure it's another sign.
I kicked the blankets, stood up from the bed and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I'm not allowed to move my wounded finger much (Greyson said) because it might bleed again. So, I gotta be careful with touching things.
I grabbed a pitcher of water in the fridge with my wounded index finger raised up and poured water into the glass. I sat on a stool in front of the kitchen counter and just stared at the glass of water. I don't know what's wrong with me so, don't ask.
