Matt Sloan's POV

Hi, I am Matt. I am surprised you don't know about me. Everyone knows me!

Anyways, apparently I am a demigod. A son of Ares.(I know that in Sea of Monsters it says that he has a rich dad but whateva)

So on my second day at camp, I saw people psyched. As I wondered why, I asked someone.

"Dude, it's Percy Jackson's birthday," said Marcus, my brother.

Wait, Percy Jackson!? That was the kid I used to bully. He was probably some Hypnos loser.

Curious, I asked Marcus what parentage he has. He answered with Poseidon, which completely shocked me. Why does he have such a powerful father?

Still more curious, I asked what he had done. He surely couldn't have done that much.

Marcus looked at me like I was an alien. He answered, "Oh, nothing much. He just killed the Minotaur without any training, retrieved Zeus' master bolt, defeated our dad at sword fighting, survived pit scorpion poison when Luke betrayed him. In his first year."

I was shocked. I said meekly, "Go on."

Marcus explained how he went to the sea of monsters to retrieve the Golden Fleece, faced many monsters, rescued Annabeth, faced Atlas, held the sky, went through the Labryinth, found Daedalus, watched Pan fade, retrieve the sword of Hades, blew up the Princess Andromeda, faced the Titan war, watched Luke die, lose his memory, get traded over to the Romans, free Death, almost died many more times, fell into Tartarus, survived, watched Bob the Titan and Damasen the friendly Giant die for his sake, closed the Doors of Death, get poisoned by Polyphemus, face the Giant war, and defeat Gaea. He ended by saying how Percy is the most powerful demigod ever and the best sword fighter in 300 years.

I was left standing in shock, gaping. Marcus studied my face. He inquired, "Surprised he did so much?"

I answered slowly, "It's not that. I bullied him and his friend Tyson when we were 13."

Marcus laughed. Then he added, "His fatal flaw is loyalty, so he probably hates you for hurting Tyson. By the way, Tyson is a cyclops and the General of the Cyclops Army. He also hates people that hurt Percy. You are so dead."
