Chapter 13 Change In Plans

Every day my belly grew bigger and bigger and soon I felt there little kicks somedays the babies kick were so hard It knocked the breath out of me or almost made me fell back they were strong little kickers.

I knew from the first day and til now, till the day they are born they our a heavenly gift from god above and there are no regrets.

*3 WEEKS LATER*

The next day we had to get up early to go to his parents house to watch his little brothers and then after his mom gets back we were all going to go to the obgyn doctor.

We arrived at his parents at 9 in the morning while his mom ran to work and his dad was already gone to work.

We sat on the couch and watch some tv soon his brothers woke up wanting something to eat. Mike his middle brother who was twelve, wanted pancakes and Ike who was 10 wanted bacon and eggs.

Joshua just looked at me and I looked at him and said, "how about both, daddy were are hungry too." we all laughed and Joshua got up and went to go fix some breakfast for all of us.

After he finished we all sat down at the dinner table and ate and soon his mom came home when Lilly walked in she just looked at us all.

"Who cooked breakfast, and I'm surprised y'all are eating together this is the first time everyone sat at the dinner table." She said in a happy voice.

"Joshua made breakfast for all of us, they woke up hungry and we all wanted two things so Joshua decided to cook both something we all wanted." I said looking up at Lilly and down at Joshua.

"Whoa wait a minute Joshua as in my son made breakfast and didn't burn the house down!" She said in shocked and sarcastically.

We all laughed and soon finished eating out breakfast then we clean the kitchen up and soon it was time to go to the obgyn doctor.

On the way up there I was thinking and then I told Joshua to stop by Carmen's house.

"Why baby what for?" He said confused.

"Just do it I told her I'll let her go once and also I want her to know the gender and her plan a party for us to find out." I said looking at him.

"You sure you want to do that baby?" He said looking at me and back at the rode, reassuring me.

"Yes baby I'm sure." I said letting him know what I said.

"Alright baby." He said nodding his head.

I texted Carmen letting her know get ready be there in five to get her. We drove to her house picked her up and headed to the obgyn.

Once we got to the obgyn doctor I sign in and while waiting I told Carmen everything what I told Joshua.

That she going to know the gender and she can't tell anyone and plan the party her self. Soon the nurse called us back and we went into one of the rooms.

Soon doctor Lisa came in the room, "hello how's everything going Nicole." she looked at me and then shook Joshua and Carmen's hand.

"Everything's is going well an this is my friend Carmen she going to be knowing the sex not us." I said looking at Carmen then the doctor.

"Okay I understand I'll wright it down for her and I'll turn the screen so y'all can't see the sex." She said looking at me and Joshua then Carmen.

We nodded our heads and I laid back on the bed and raised my shirt up over my belly and then she put the jell on and looked at the babies on the screen.

"Alright everything looks good and okay baby number one gender." She said and wrote it down were we couldn't see it, "and baby number two." she wrote down the gender on the same piece of paper.

Then she took pictures for us but none showing the gender and then she gave me some wipes to wipe off the jell and gave Carmen the envelope of the gender of the babies an told her to open it when she gets home.

Later we left after she gave us our pictures and dropped Carmen off at her house and then we went home.

Once we got home and sat down on the couch and checked my phone I had bout twenty text message from Chelsea and then fifteen messages from Joshua mom both asking me what's the sex is and I replied back saying.

"We don't know we won't know till next Friday the 18 cause that's when Carmen my friend throwing the gender party for us so you have to find out till then sorry guys!" I sent to them both back.

Even though me and Joshua wanted to know what the sex was but we only needed to wait three more days till it's Friday. Oh boy it's going to be three long days.
