Chapter 29 False Alarm

I held onto the counter top and bent down holding on with one hand on my stomach. Joshua ran into the kitchen toward me with big eyes.

"Nicole are you alright, what's wrong, are the girls coming?" He was so confused he didn't know what to do.

"I don't know my water didn't break." I looked down at the ground to see if there was any water.

"Let's get you to the hospital just in case, chels stay here if anything happens I'll let u know okay." He said helping me up and carrying me bridal style to the car.

"I can walk you know." I looked up at him.

"I know but just in case you know." He smiled and placed me into the car and ran to the other side and hoped in.

We reached the hospital within fifteen minutes. Usually it would take thirty but since there was no traffic hardly we got there quicker.

Joshua pushed me into the hospital in a wheel chair and went up to the desk. He talked to the receptionist and then he came back a nurse and came and got me and wheeled me back to a room on the left with Joshua following behind.

They helped me up to get in the hospital bed, once I was finally on which took forever it seemed like I laid back while the nurse took my blood pressure, temp and then finally checked on the girls.

Not even 30 minutes of being in there worried something bad has happen to my babies the doctor finally comes in she comes over and checks on me but doesn't say anything which gets me worried even more.

"Alright Nicole everything ok it just false alarm." She smiled and continues to wright in the folder.

"What you mean it was just fake attractions?" I looked at her confused.

"Yes there quiet common especially with twins when it gets closer to the due date even though your almost 7 in a half months pregnant, and also it's common for twins to be early sometimes too so just take it easy and everything will be ok Nicole I promise you." She smiled at us looking between me and Joshua.

"Thank you doctor and may I be discharge then or do I need to stay?" I looked up at her the. Back to Joshua.

"You may go home but remember go home relax and get plenty of sleep you'll be need all your strength." She smiled and handed us the discharge papers to sigh.

We shook her hand and Joshua pushed me in the wheel chair out to the car with the nurse following behind us. He helped me in the car and shut the door once I was in.

The nurse took the wheel chair back in and Joshua got in the car and we drove all the way back home.

The car ride home was silent, relaxing, and i could tell Joshua felt the same it was like a big relief that was off or chests. Thirty minutes passes by and we finally made it home.

Joshua got out of the car and walked around to help me out of the car. We walked in the door and the next minute I look up I see Chelsea hop down the stairs like a mad women but then stops half way looking wide eye at me and Joshua.

"What in the world are you doing Cotten tail Easter don't come for another month sweetie." Me and Joshua busted out laughing.

"Oh shut up guys I thought you were having the babies or something chill." She shook her head at us and walked back up stairs.

"Well since I'm seven months the doctor said the twins could come early like maybe next month or May 28 when my due date is between now and then they could come." I walked up the stairs to my room.

"Well let's hope they don't come now." She turned around to look at me.

"Yea I hope not, I rather wait till close to there due date." I pulled out my pjs from my dresser draw.

"Yea I know well goodnight girl get some sleep and goodnight girls." She talked in a baby voice looking at my stomach.

"Night chels see ya in the morning." I laughed and went to the bathroom to get changed.

I changed into my pjs, did my routine like always, and walked out of the bathroom turning off the light behind me. I sat down on my bed, took my phone, and plugged it up to the charger. Then I turned off my lap and got into bed I turned over and laid my head on Joshua's chest and feel fast asleep in his strong arms holding me.

Hey guys I'm sooo sorry I've been so busy but here ya go I will try to make a longer chapter next Thursday I promise I'll wright I'll be off for a straight week and I will write for y'all!
