Chapter 25 The Good And Bad News

"Chelsea Gullett your test results are." He said reading the folder.

I held her hand and we just stared at the doctor waiting for him to give us an answer.

"You have cancer but the good news is that we may be able to remove it in time before it spreads any further."

Chelsea held my hand tighter at the words he said but then released her grip when he said they may be able to move it.

"Well that's good when can you do it?" She asked nervously.

"We should do the surgery by next week sometime I will have one of my nurses call you when it will be, I liked to do it as soon as possible so it doesn't spread any further." He closed the folder and laid it down on the counter top.

"Ok thank you doctor." She said in relief.

"You two may leave now but before you go here is a list of medicine that should help with the slowing down process and also eat healthy." He wrote down on a piece of paper and gave it to her.

We shook our heads and left the clinic in relief and staying positive that the cancer won't spread.

On the way back home we stopped at Arby's to get a bit to eat. We sat down at the table eating are food when out of no where this sandwich guy or should I say a guy in a costume was going around trying to take people's sandwiches when he came close over to our table he try to get my sandwich.

"Oh hell no you ain't bout to take my fucking sandwich you mother fucker I am pregnant women if you so dare try to touch my sandwich so help me god I will rip your fucking balls off and shove them down your god damn thought! I yelled at the top of my lungs everyone starring at the poor sandwich guy.

He threw his hands up in surrender and walked away slowly everyone started laughing and clapping.

Chelsea just shook her head and continue eating. Once when we were finished we left the store before we left the manager stopped us and handed me a bag of free Arby's sandwiches for what happen earlier.

We thanked the guy and left and headed back home. On the way back home we jam to some music and just had a good time.

Once we got home I was exhausted it was only 5:30pm. And I already wanted to go to bed once we walked in everyone jumped out in yelled surprised which made be jump back in confusion on what was going on.

I looked around and it all clicked it was a surprised baby shower that Joshua and his mom put together while we were gone.

When I walked in I saw pink strings dangling from the ceiling and balloons everywhere and a huge sign saying its twin girls! I was so happy all I could do was tear up and cry.

Joshua came up to me and hugged me,

"Are you ok baby?" He asked concern all I could do was shook my head yes and smile.

I hugged him back and then I calmed my self down I went around thanking everyone for coming.

An hour went by and we finally got to eat and cut the cake the cake was two tear cake that was pink and white icing on the sides. The writing was in white that said twin girls and had to emoji baby faces that were smiling.

Once we were finished eating it was time to open presents. Chelsea wrote down the names of the people and what they got me while Joshua and I open presents. His mom also took the pictures.

The gifts ranged from diapers, wipes, bottles, passies, bath stuff with two cute animal towels one was a baby duck and the other was a baby kitten, we also got baby toys like rattles chew toys, we got a bunch of pink and purple girl clothes and some that were matching with bows, we got another crib to match the other one we had, two bassinets pink and purple, and last but not least a double stroller.

We had so many cute things we had everything we needed and I was excited I couldn't wait till the girls get here in May but the doctor told us they could come a month early which is normal for twins.

Later that night everyone done went home. Joshua and Chelsea cleaned the house while I put the clothes away in the drawers and everything els that needed to be put up.

After I was finished putting everything up Joshua called me to come down stairs. When I got down stairs I couldn't believe my eyes.

"You got the rocking chair I always wanted!" I yelled in excitement and ran up to him and hugged him.

"Well I saved up enough money and Chelsea pitched in some." He said rubbing the back of his neck.

I gave them both a big hug and thanked them both again for the millionth time.

"Alright baby let me and Chelsea go put it up stairs so you can sit in it for the first time." They picked up the big heavy rocking chair and carried it up the stairs.

Once they got it finally into the room I told them where I wanted it. When they put the rocking chair down I sat down and then I couldn't help myself my darn hormones got the best of me.

"Baby what's wrong do you not like it?" Joshua bent down in concern what's going on.

All I could do that shake my head no, "no- o I'm just so happy and these damn hormones are getting to me." I wiped away the tears that kept falling.

"Oh baby it's ok please don't cry everything is alright." He raised up my chin to where I could see face him and then he took his thumbs and wiped away my tears and kissed me.

I gave him a hug and then another kissed until Chelsea cleared her throat to remind us that she was in the room. We just shook our heads and laughed.

Later that night we eat supper then we watched Beetle Juice for tonight's movie. After it was over we were all tired and was ready for bed.

Before going to bed I used the restroom, brush my teeth and threw on some pjs once I was finished I crawled into bed well more like slid into bed and plug up my phone to the charger and fell fast asleep.
