Chapter 20 Mysteries and Truth

I walked over to see who was knocking at the door when I opened the door my eyes went wide at who was standing at the front door.

"Who's at the door baby?" He got up and walked over toward me.

When Joshua got to the door he pulled me back to stand in front of me, " What the hell are you doing here after the stunt you pulled last time I advise you to leave." Joshua said coldly.

I just stood here still froze thinking why did my dad show up at the door of all the people to show up it had to be him. I was pissed no beyond pissed I was furious.

"Well son let's see here I still live here even though I moved out I just stopped by to tell Nicole that I'm sorry even though I never got to last time." He said looking at me then back at Joshua.

"Well as you can see what happen last time I don't think that be a great idea she doesn't need any stress on her." Joshua said clearing at my dad.

I stepped around Joshua looking dead in the eye with my dad, "what are you doing here and why?"

"Well if you let me come in and sit we can have a conversation and I can tell you some important news." he said looking down at me sadly.

"Ok fine but you have ten minutes to talk that's all I'm giving you." I said coldly.

We walked into the living room and sat down. Chelsea got up to go make us some snacks while me and Joshua talked to my father.

"Okay explain yourself now." I said glaring at my father.

"Well I came here to say that I'm sorry I never meant to cause any harm to you or my grand babies if you even let me get to see them, but I also came here to tell you that I remarried and to tell you that you have a brother that you never met before, he is your half brother he is a year older than you, you never met him but if you like to meet him you can, and again I am very sorry I never meant to hurt you and you know that Nicole I love you you are my only daughter."

I just sat there in shock thinking I have another brother and this whole time he never mention him to me and sorry really if he was so sorry then why did he do what he did last time to me?

"I have a another brother and this whole time the past seventeen years you never mention oh hey Nicole you you have a brother by the way but no you tell me now why now all of a sudden." I said in a cold tone.

"Nicole I'm sorry I found out myself I was only in high school when I got her pregnant I never meant to it just happen she was my first love and she never told me she was pregnant because she moved away and after that is when I met your mom Nicole."

"First love so you never loved momma speaking of since you hardly stayed around anyways after she was gone I had to do everything I didn't have anyone to cope over her death you stayed gone while I had to suffer!"

"Nicole please calm down and I did love your mother I had to work a lot and I'm sorry please forgive me Nicole." he said in a sad town.

I couldn't talk anymore I was to upset I started to cry and put my head down to try to cover up my face it was all to real now and I didn't know what to say or do anymore.

"You need to go now I'm sorry but as you can see she is upset again and she doesn't need the stress so please leave now." Joshua said getting up and showing my father the door.

He left saying sorry again and goodbye after Joshua shut the door behind him coming back to calm me down.

I didn't say anything I just got up and went to take a nice bubble bath to relax. After spending an hour in the tub I got out and went to get some pjs to put on and then I went straight to bed not eating anything.
