"There you are Indigo!" Brittney said gazing up, sheltering her eyes with her delicate hand from the sun.

"Hi. Come and sit down next to me." Ivy smiled.

Grace waved as Lulu gave a friendly wink- I took a seat next to Ivy.

"Where have you been?" Lulu questioned.

"Oh, you know Lucy?" I questioned.

"Yes." Lulu said rolling her eyes as she continued, "Ugh, you better not bring her over here. She's so annoying and quiet. She's no fun whatsoever."

"I wasn't thinking of bringing her over here." I said worriedly.

"I was having my lunch with her. That's where I was." I said.

"Don't hang out with her again okay. She'll make us look like weirdos." Lulu said, raising her eyebrows.

"Lulu, that's a bit mean don't you think, Lucy can't help being a tad bit shy, can she?" Ivy said with concern.

"Shut up Ivy. How about you keep your gob shut, otherwise Indigo will be your replacement in the friendship group before you know it." Lulu said sharply. She meant it as well.

I cleared my throat, Brittney stayed quiet and frowned with concern as Ivy looked down at the ground, picking at the grass.

"How about we make daisy chains?" Grace said, breaking the silence.

"Don't feel like it." Lulu said.

"Can't be bothered." Brittney sighed.

"Play a game of tag?" Grace raised her eyebrows.

"That's for babies." Lulu said.

"How about we just chat and gossip?" Brittney questioned.

Everyone nodded their heads.

"How come no one ever likes my ideas." Grace questioned.

Everyone giggled.

"Because your ideas are rubbish" Lulu said.

"Yeah, they are rubbish!" Ivy said.

"Stop that's my line. I'm supposed to do the backchat remember. I'm the best at it after all." Lulu murmured.

Me and Brittney smirked at each other.

"We have P.E next, Indigo. With the boys!" Brittney gasped.

"Ugh." I rolled my eyes and sighed.
