I squeezed my eyes shut before fully opening them. The sunlight glared down at me through the window, and it was quite blinding. I looked around finally realizing I wasnt in my bedroom-I was in Marquez's bedroom. I don't remember anything- its starting to freak me out. "I didn't know you spent the night here.."
My heart literally jumped out of my chest and I squealed loudly as I glanced at the door. I swallowed, sitting up in the large bed with only a shirt on-Quez's shirt. Shit. I looked back up at Cillyy- she had a plain look on her face.
"We didn't do anything I swear. I just, I-"
"Breakfast is downstairs if you are hungry." She gave a obviously fake smile and walked away. shit. I stood up and put on my clothes from yesterday on, walking out of the sport themed room.
-
The kitchen was silent and only the clanking of spoons and forks hitting the plates was heard. Marquez was constantly glancing at me and Cillyy was just staring down at her phone.
"So what did you guys do yesterday?" Mrs. Slaughter asked, looking at all of us at the table with a slight grin on her face. I don't even remember what happened yesterday after Cillyy left, that's the problem. "Quez?"
"We, Franny and I, watched a movie." She gave us both an uncertain looks, like she thought we did something else-but she should know me. I'm waiting till after marriage. "Mom, we watched a movie. That's it, I promise." She sighed, then looked over at Cillyy.
"Cecilia? You stayed home this time right? I don't want you around that Daylon boy. He is bad news-"
"His name is- nevermind. I stayed home mom, I promise." Once again, Mrs. Slaughter gave a uncertain look before walking into the huge marble kitchen.
"You guys aren't like..together.." She cringed, "Are you?"
"No we aren't, we're just close frie-why the hell am I explaining this to you?" I pinched his leg under the table and he hissed.
"No we're just best friends." I answered- lying to her. Well, it isnt really a lie. We were just best friends before he asked me out. "But where did you go yesterday?" I quickly changed the subject.
"At a friends house.." She mumbled, shrugging. "Come on, let's go to Starbucks." She says, instantly getting excited. I rolled my eyes, chucking, before following her upstairs to change.
-
I got into the car, smiling like a little kid at an amusement park, replaying the scene in my head over again.
"I'm loving them shorts though." I rolled my eyes, pushing him away from me, "What?"
"I can't believe you just lied to your sister. Again. She's going to find out eventually. Why not just tell her?" I growled, and he rolled his eyes, kissing my neck and right above my V neck shirt. Damn it. "Que-"
"Shh. Lets just make out until she calls for you to go. It takes her an hour to get ready anyway." He chuckled, and placed his lips on mine. He wrapped his cold arms around my waist, pulling me close to gis freezing body. I couldn't help but to sink into his imbrace- even if it isnt warm- smiling against his warm lips.
