25: Accident's Happen...

The schools music sucks, so Sasha decided to risk her getting a suspension for some good music. She secretly took the aux as the DJ went on a break and started playing her playlist. Most people from our grade, praising her for ending the terrible music.

The whole crew was out on the dance floor, forming a circle as everyone else from the grade quickly went over to see the circle.

Sasha took me inside the circle, not knowing what to do, I just ended up twerking on her.

"AYEEE!" People were shouting at us. We finally left the center and I talked to Eren.

In a loud whisper due to it being loud in there when someone else went in the middle, I started talking. "You wish Sash' was you, huh?"

I started teasing him and he started laughing. "Just a bit."

Connie was now in the middle, doing the worm. Everyone got out their phones and started recording, never wanting the night to end. Reiner and Bert came in the circle and started dancing. It was so funny and so much fun.

I started talking to Eren again, "Hey Ereh, I'm kinda hungry. Wanna go get some snacks with me?"

"Yeah! Of course." Without me realizing it at the time, someone started to follow us.

"You want some chips?" He asked me.

"Yeah!" We got the chips and started sitting down and talking.

"You know Eren... I'm surprised no one has caught on yet about this all being planned."

"Honestly, me too. But I do kinda feel bad for lying all the time. Especially to Jean, he did really like you. You think he still does?"

"To be fair, I don't know. All I am worried about though is that we have a nice night. No one is specting anything. I mean we areee childhood friends after all." I said with heavy sarcasm leaving my lips. I grab his hand and go back onto the dance floor, hearing his laugh echo.

It feels as if everything is in slow motion. His laugh, smile and happiness. I love it when he's happy. For all the years that i've known him and all of his girlfriends I gotta say... He definitely looked happiest with me.

Ahhh, and there goes our group. All of our friends, so precious. Armin finally found himself a girl. I can tell that she really likes him, I know he'll be happy. Maybe one day we can all go on a double date. Thinking about it just made me smile. To see where we all have come here today. No one knows about me and Eren but that's alright. We can slowly hint it to them, eventually tell them. I know that they'll be mad if they find out from a second source, which is probably why Eren has been stressing the thought of telling them soon.

To be honest, Eren is right. We should tell them soon before it turns into something it shouldn't.

"Eren, we'll tell them next week. Alright?" He didn't expect that out of me.

"O-okay, whatever it is that you want. Mikasa." He smiled while looking at me, it made me smile even harder. His beautiful eyes and charming attitude tonight. He makes me feel so happy.

He picks up his phone, checking the message. His face goes pale.

"Ereh~ What's wrong?"

He shows me the text message, from Jean.

THIS IS ON EREN'S PHONE; THE "ME" IS EREN.

JEAN

Jean- So, it was a plan all along?

Me- Jean what're you talking about?

Jean- The fact that you and Mikasa lied to us all. Had us looking like fools?! Me specifically. I EVEN HAD ENOUGH TRUST TO ASK YOU WHAT SHE WOULD LIKE FOR A DATE. Eren Yeager, i don't think you understand how much I really liked Mikasa, just for you guys to be messing around. I asked you for so much advice because she was your "BEST FRIEND". But the whole time from when I asked if I could ask her out this was going on... Wasn't it? And even if it wasn't you still should have said SOMETHING?? Maybe about how you have feelings for her and she does for you. When I found out you guys were Exes I knew something was up and I had to investigate. But when I do all I find out is that you two have been FUCKING AROUND... THE WHOLE TIME. When I asked Connie yesterday all he said was that he saw a pair of panties on your dresser that day at the cottage. WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME?? I hope you and your girl-toy FUCK YOURSELVES. OR YOU KNOW WHAT??? Just fuck eachother, i mean you already do that . right?

I had no words. I looked around to see where Jean was but he was no where to be found. I looked next to me to find a crying Eren.

"Eren, I'm so sorry."

"Mikasa, apologizing isn't going to do anything. Plus it's not even your fault. If anything it's mine for egging Jean on with asking you out."

"Eren, I know you. You couldn't had said anything TOO crazy. I know you would have gotten immediately jealous."

"No, Mikasa... it's all my fault. Once again."

"In my story, you aren't that bad guy. In Jean's story, you sadly were. But that's okay, and there's nothing we can do about it. We'll talk to him when we get Sasha's after party. For now let's just freshen you up in the bathroom and have a good rest of the night. There's only 20 more minutes until the lights turn on and we leave."

Eren ended up agreeing with me and going along with my plan. It was quiet from Jean all night, him hiding in the shadows, away from the dance floor. To be honest, I think that's just what Eren needed right now.
