It's May 4th at 7:30am and we're sitting in the airport waiting for our flight at 9:00am.
"Dude, why did we have to come so early? The flights not for another hour and a half." Taylor whined.
"Dude, I'm not missing my flight cause you were taking to long, that's why you slept over? Remember? Why don't you just go to the Starbucks?" I turned to look at her and pulled my hood over my face to hide from the light.
"Anything to get out of this hard ass chair. Want anything?"
"Can you grab me a grande cinnamon dolce latte?"
"Sure! Be right back."
I watched as she left, and then put in my headphones. I turned on some music and closed my eyes for a few minutes.
I woke up to Taylor shaking my shoulder to tell me that our flight was boarding in 5 mins and we had to go.
We grabbed our stuff and boarded our plane. I snapped a quick picture out the window of the plane mid flight in and posted it on instagram.

It was only a 2 and a half hour flight so it wasn't very long. I spent the whole flight texting Sam updating him on what time we will arrive, he said an Uber will be there to pick us up.
Me and Taylor gossiped the whole time about how excited we were to not only meet Sam and Colby but also to see the Queen Mary, I've been trying to get on the waiting list for almost 2 years but never got on it, so when the boys said that's where we were filming, there was no way I was saying no.
** We arrive at LAX and can't help but freak out that we're in California. Taylor has never been, I've only been once when I was 16, so being here was unreal.
We grab our bags and walk out the doors to find our Uber, we spot a black suv and a man holding a sign that says "HEYWARD" across it and run over to him.
We start our adventure to our first hotel where we're meeting Sam and Colby.
I can't believe I just said that, WE ARE MEETING SAM AND COLBY!
Colby
"Yo brotherrrr!"
I hear Sam shout from the other side of the hotel room.
"Yes, brother?" I laugh and roll over on my bed.
"The girls are in the Uber! They'll be here in 10-15 mins"
"Alrightyyy, I'll get changed and then we can head down to the lobby. Cool?"
"Ya sounds good" Sam says and then ducks back into the bathroom and shuts the door.
I pull on a black hoodie with a pair of black ripped jeans, I pair it all with my black jean jacket and a black pair of vans, And I head towards the door.
"Let's go bro, they'll be here any minute" I shout as I open the door.
"I'm coming!" Sam comes out of the bathroom and we both head to the elevator.
"I wonder if she's as funny as she is in her videos?" Sam says casually.
"I like to think so. If not this is gonna be reaaaaally interesting"
We both laugh as Sam gets a text on his phone.
Isabella: hey! We're about to pull up! See you soon :)
"They're hereeeee" Sam says and we step out of the elevator.
I look around the crowded lobby and see a bun of bright orange hair.
I point her out to Sam and he shouts out Isabella's name. She turns and I swear my breath gets caught in my chest. She was so beautiful. I've seen her in her ghost exploring videos but something about the way her eyes lit up with happiness when she noticed us made my heart beat faster.
I couldn't help but smile back as her and her friend ran over to us.
"Wow, oh my god. I can't believe this is actually happening!" The red head says as she wraps her arms around Sam giving him a hug before turning to me and doing the same.
"Well it's happening, cause here we are" I chuckle and hug her back.
Her friend waits before giving us our hugs as well.
"I'm Taylor by the way!" And she smiles at us while elbowing her friend who was just standing there staring at her shoes.
"Oh shit ya! My name is Isa-"
"Isabella Heyward, we know. We love your channel." Sam said with a big smile "Why don't we get you guys checked into your room, it's the room right beside us"
"Oh I'll go with you." Taylor says and follows Sam to the front desk.
We stand there for a few minutes in awkward silence before Isabella breaks the silence.
"I'm really excited to be working with you guys. The Queen Mary is my dream filming location. Are you excited?"
"Oh ya, I can't wait. It's gonna be awesome collaborating. I've seen all of your videos. You guys are hilarious" I look at her and realize that she's has small freckles scattered across her nose and cheeks. I find myself staring before I realize she looks up at me with a confused face.
"Colby? Are you okay?" She says and puts a hand on my arm.
"Ya, I'm okay. Sorry. What were you saying?"
"I asked if you've ever been to the Queen Mary" she laughed.
"Oh wel-" I went to respond but Sam and Taylor came back and handed Isabella her door pass.
"Like I said before, your room is right beside us. We're in room 7C and you guys have 7D. So if y'all need something, you guys can just knock and we're right there!" Sam said as we all walked towards the elevator.
"Here, let me take that for you!" I say to Isabella whose struggling to pull her luggage and her two carryon bags.
"Oh, thanks Colby. Let's get this trip started" Isabella smiled and walked to the elevator.
