5 - This night is gonna bond us for life. prt 1

The group woke up to Sam's alarm signalling it was 2:30am. Time to start an investigation.

Colby started setting up the cameras when they whole group heard knocking coming from the closet.

Everyone froze and stared at the closet door. Suddenly the rooms temperature dropped and the EMF started beeping at full volume.

Everyone's heads whipped around when the rem pod started to beep on the other side of the room.

"Sam turn on the camera" Colby said quietly but as soon as he finished his sentence, everything in the room went silent.

It was like all the noise was sucked out of the room and the only thing they could hear was the sounds of their own heart beats.

Isabella pulled her phone out of her pocket and gasped.

"Guys, it's 3:00am" her voice shook and they all just stared at her not knowing what to do next.

"Alright, maybe we should try and do an Estes method? Maybe we'll get something?" Colby said.

"Ya but who's going under?" Isabella said.

"I'll do it" Taylor said.

"Are you sure? If you don't feel right just let us know." Sam said and rested a hand on the girls shoulder.

"Ya let's do this" she smiled at the group.

They finished setting up the Estes method and explained to the camera what was happening before handing Taylor the noise cancelling headphones and she sat down.

The rest of the group sat on the couch on the other side of the living room and started asking questions.

"Taylor, can you hear us" Sam said

Silence.

"Okay I think we're okay. Is there anyone in here?" Sam asked again.

Silence.

"Does anyone want to talk to us?"

"I know you" Taylor suddenly said.

Colby looked over to Taylor. "Who do you know? There's three of us, which one of us do you know?"

"All"

"You know all of us?" Sam said.

"You're home"

"Home? What does that mean?" Isabella looked at the boys and then back at Taylor.

"What do you mean we're home? We don't live here? Do you live here?" Colby asked.

Out of no where a knock came from the closet, everyone's head turned.

"Was that you?" Colby asked while staring at the closet.

Silence.

"Who made that noise?"

Isabella turned "Guys. Doesn't this feel familiar, It's almost like-"

"We're back in the closet" Sam said as his eyes went wide as they all stared into the ominous dark closet.

"It's me again" Taylor said suddenly snapping them back.

"Are you the child from the closet" Colby asked.

"No."

"Well who is thi-" Colby was cut off.

"They're hiding."

"Are you who the young child was scared of?" Isabella asked.

"I am"

"Holy shit" Isabella said quietly.

"What are you?" Colby asked in hopes for an answer.

They sat in the silence for few more seconds.

"What are you doing here?" Sam asked.

Silence.

"Do you need help?"

Silence.

"Do you think maybe they left?" Isabella asked the two boys who shrugged their shoulders.

"Go hide!" Taylor suddenly shouted before throwing off her headphones and shaking her head.

"What the fuck just happened" Isabella walked over to Taylor who was shaking scared. "Are you okay?"

"It yelled at me to go hide and then just screamed. I don't know what the hell that was but I can tell you... it wasn't anything good" she said looking up at the group. "Did it work? Did you talk to anything?"

"Taylor you have no idea what we just caught" Sam said with wide eyes.

The group gave her a quick run down before Colby said something "I wanna try again. But I'll wear them"

Sam hesitated "Are you sure brother? We got a lot already and I don't want anything bad to happen"

"Ya let's do it" Colby says and grabs the headphones.

The clock reads 3:48am as everyone turns their cameras back on. Isabella stops dead in her tracks after she hears the beep from her camera behind her.

She turns around to check that it was what she thinks it was.

"Guys, my cameras dead?" She looks up at the rest of them.

"What?" Taylor gets up off the couch and walks over to the red headed girl "how?"

"Guys, maybe it's just from filming all day" Sam says from the couch.

"No Sam, it was charging while we were asleep earlier I still had 6 hours of battery left" Isabella says while looking around for her second camera.

"Guys it's almost 4am, we have to do this now?" Colby says.

"Just grab your other camera Iz, maybe it just wasn't charging?" The other girl says as she walks back over to the couch.

"Ya, maybe" she stares at the camera for a minute, knowing full well it was charging.

Isabella grabs her second camera and sets it up beside the boys camera. She looks over to make sure both cameras are recording.

She stops dead in her tracks and calls over to the two boys.

"Uh Sam. Your cameras dead too"
