I decided to just walk around the club that morning dahil mukhang hindi na magpapakita sa akin ang pakay ko.

I came in the Drunk and Sober cafe and order some chai tea latte. Umupo ako sa labas para makapag-isip isip kung paano ba ako mapapalapit kay Miggy. Now he knows I'm here. Problema ko ngayon ang next step.

"Hi!"

I looked up and saw a guy smiling down at me. There's something about him that's just so charismatic. Is it his smile? His voice? Nakuuu kung hindi lang ako nandito para kay Miggy eh.

"I'm Rizky."

"I'm Ria."

He sat down on the chair opposite mine. "I hope this chair is not taken."

I smiled. "All good."

"It has been a long time since I watched one of your shows. Then I heard you're retiring. And now I'm seeing you here."

Napatitig ako rito. He knows me?

"Yeah, I know you. How about you, you know me?" He flashed me a very boyish smile.

Kumunot ang noo ko. Now that I think about it, he does look familiar. Saan na nga ba niya nakita ito?

"Damn, you really forgot my face huh? I'm bruised. Have you performed for any royalty before? Asian royalty in particular?"

I do remember performing exclusively before a royal family but which royal family?

"Are you one of the staff? Guard? You can't be one of the princes, right?" Tanong ko rito. "Which country?"

I fumbled through my phone and Google-ed Rizky and royal family. Lumabas na top search ang litrato ng isang royal family from the country Eridu.

Isa ito sa mga prinsipe ng naturang bansa. Ito ang pinakabata sa anim na magkakapatid at ngayon ay ang pinaka-huling nakalinya sa trono.

Takte ka Alexandria. Prinsipe iyang kaharap mo. Ghagha.

"I see you know me now."

"Sorry about that. Gosh this is embarassing."

"Nah, I thought you'll remember me. But please, treat me like a normal person here. Kalimutan mong prinsipe ako habang nandito."

"I'm really, really sorry."

"So, mukhang malalim ang iniisip mo ah. Care to share? I know hindi tayo close pero feeling close talaga ako sa mga tao eh. It comes with the job and title, sorry."

Sumipsip ako ng chai tea latte ko bago nangalumbaba. "May nililigawan kasi ako."

Tumaas ng bahagya ang kilay nito. "Hmmm... go on..."

"I don't know how to become closer to him."

"Hmmm. I'm only knowledgable on courting women, sadly."

"Ano bang gusto niyong mga lalaki? Ano bang easiest way to your heart?"

"Food?"

Sumimangot ako. "Binigyan ko na siya ng paborito niyang arroz caldo. Ayaw niya, hindi na raw siya kumakain ng kanin."

"Then I got none."

Napasandal ako at napahilamos ng mukha. "Putangina naman." Tinignan ko ito bigla. "Hindi ikaw ah."

He just smiled and shook his head. "Is he here?"

"Yeah."

"Well, kung isa siya sa mga kilala kong lalaki na mabait naman, I'm sure hindi ka mahihirapan."
